WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Democratic lawmakers voted on Wednesday to subpoena Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to testify about administration justifications for the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Is this just for political purposes?

Well, why don't we just go ahead and lock up anyone that disagrees with the Obama Administration and the Democrats. With so much going on in the world, it's sad that this Administration is using valuable time trying to make the Bush Administration look bad in order to make themselves look good. Ms. Rice is a perfect foil. Can't wait to watch the Grandstanding by her interrogators! Talk about a dog and pony show.

Since this is her last stint for the year 2008, she should remain transparent enough to maintain the foreign relations status quo. She should stand up to her ideals as an American citizen, rather than be accustomed to be blown by the wind of her loyalty staunch to the administration she is presently serving now, hook, line and sinker!

Who cares why they are doing it...... I can't wait to watch her hem and haw and lie to our faces one more time, just for old times sake, before she becomes unemployed. This former icon of female achievement is now a joke, puppet, mouth-piece for a corrupt and deceitful regime. I want to hear her say the lies again, so we all can remember very clearly how much crap this group has spewed. Right before the elections is a good time. WE ALL NEED TO REMEMBER WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. The subpoena was a nasty technique. All they had to do is ask her to testify. There's not a damn thing left to tell these people that they haven't heard before. Why Democrats want the terrorists here fighting us is beyond me.

I do wish Congress would spend less time trying to impeach, fire or just generally humiliate their fellow pols. This applies to both parities. Just plain sick of it. Do some real work that you're paid by the citizens to do.
