I was quite sympathetic to Ron Paul but the venom and constant insults from his supporters put me off. With those people you either agree with them totally and dutifully repeat their mantra that R Paul is a messiah, or be branded a neocon. I don't like the cult created around Paul. Even now I still would prefer Paul over 0bama but he is the last choice if there is no one else.
