‘Completely Wrong’ Google Image Search Gets You a Page Full of Romney Photos: Hilarious or Horrible?

It's the Santorum thing all over again... but this time a Google search is affecting Mitt Romney. A Google Image search of the phrase "completely wrong" will get you a page filled with photos of the Republican presidential candidate.

Google has often been accused of pushing a liberal agenda, but this time, most of the images are because of articles in which writers quote Romney saying he was "completely wrong" in saying his now-infamous "47 percent" line about those who rely on government assistance and those he's not interested in serving as president. Who knew a simple quote could lead to such an amusing Google Image result? Do you find it hilarious or horrible?

WASHINGTON.CBSLOCAL.COM reports:
A slew of photos of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney show up in Google Images when looking up the search phrase “completely wrong.”

Google is of course free to slander whoever they wish.
However, is it in good taste? No.

I wouldn't mind having a few moments with the Google crew who perpetrated this asinine joke.

Not sure who you are referring to...

Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google.

Sergey was born in the Soviet Union, but his family moved to the U.S. when he was 6 yrs old because of anti-Antisemitism.

Larry was born in Michigan, went to College in Michigan and then Stanford in California.

Ah, so because they are showing their one-sided (and obviously mistaken) point of view, you believe them to be a better source of information? I can't understand why you'd prefer your information to be filtered through a prejudiced mechanism before you read it. Please explain.

It's a good indication that the Obama machine is well entrenched in all media except maybe radio. The web is like an anthill with both paid and volunteer Obama operatives. They care nothing about truth or fairness. They have one goal: WIN. It's amusing to hear them go on about liberty, equality and free speech but as soon as somebody disagrees with them on any point, down comes the hammer. Say anything offensive and they cry like babies about the humanity of their wounds. Double standards are the norm. Obama's political drones are everywhere but they aren't as active as last election. I think the last 4 years has thinned their ranks noticeably. I know he has a trained voting base that may well be enough to blindly vote him back in just for the sake of a "win" but he can't run on "hope and change" at this point. Best he can do is "let me finish what I started" and it's obvious to most with any common sense that he has failed to actually do anything he promised.

So you disagree that relatively small groups of people can change the results of search engines to achieve a political goal that's disproportionate to the actual normal usage patterns? Do you think Romney isn't trying the same thing? Do you take the internet at face value? Do you think either one in office will change your life directly?

I think each site should be marked liberal or conservative to start with. I do not know of any site, TV station, newspaper, radio station that is neutral, so you might as well just list them with either {L} or {C}.
