CNN Accuses Obama of 'Swiftboating' Romney

CNN on Friday surprisingly accused President Obama of "swiftboating" presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney with continuously false attacks regarding his service at Bain Capital.

The idea appears to have first been raised by CNN correspondent Jim Acosta during his interview with Romney on The Situation Room.

The White House clearly wants to portray Mitt Romney's time at the helm of Bain Capital as a weak spot. In ad after ad, Democrats are suggesting Romney is a fat cat job outsourcer, an opportunistic financial predator, and a leader's out of touch with the working class. Never mind that many of those claims appear to be backed with little or no evidence.

I'm surprised at CNN. Romney is a fat cat, job outsourcer, financial predator and out of touch with the middle class. But his big problem right now is the failure to release his tax returns. He released them to McCain and then McCain turned around and chose Palin for his running mate. Why won't he release them now? He is clearly giving the appearance of having something to hide. Maybe it has to do with Bain and any compensation he received from them during the time he supposedly no longer worked there. There will be plenty of speculation until he releases those records. He might as well do it now in case the GOP needs to find another candidate. Even many Republicans are telling him to release his taxes. There must be something he doesn't want anyone to see.

CNN is stupid. After all ... they were the first ones to announce that the Supreme Court said that the Affordable Health Care was UNconstitutional!!! They were the first ones to be wrong. Obama and I want to know a lot about Romney's money. Even though he quit Bain in 1999 to take care of the Olympics, since he was the president and CEO he still received money from them during the time Bain was sending work overseas. You have to look in between the lines, folks!

CNN has long since lost even a hint of jouranlistic credibility. Remember the Supreme Court decision upholding the A.C.A.? They were the first one’s out of the gate with the WRONG story, just ahead of Faux. They couldn’t WAIT to start bagging on the administration and what a huge failure this was for Obama, etc. Back in the Clinton years the Republicons called it the Clinton News Network. Now they’re the good guys? If their bias was any more blatant they would have an elephant on their corporate logo.

Rmoney is hiding something, obviously, and it will make him look worse to the American voters, even if it’s legal. Bet on it. More money in the Cayman’s and Switzerland, I imagine. He’s really just another ethically barren multi-millionaire vulture Capitalist that loves his country ALMOST, but not quite, as much as he loves his money.

His time at Bain IS a weak spot and a sore spot as well...Thats why he's not addressing questions about his time there from 1999- 2002...Hes now claim he reto actively retired...How do you do that when you attended board meetings and signed off on documents during that period...Does he sign things without reading them?...Thats not good...

The accusation is not FALSE! Why does anybody feel sorry for Mitt Romney when he doesn't feel sorry for the people he put out of a job to gain big profits for his business partners and himself. Did the people know what he said when he did that, well here is what he said, "Sometimes the medicine is a little bitter but it is necessary to save the life of the patient.” Who is the life of the patient he, Mitt Romney talking about? His business of course! Then he claimed he wasn't with Bain when the company start laying off. liar, liar, liar!
