unclepat 2012/04/30 09:18:10Yes+9True, the recovery has been slow but that's to be expected when one party (GOP) is concerned about appeasing the business interests who care nothing about people. Obama has done a remarkable job considering the obstructionism he's had to deal with apparently since his inauguration day, according to a new book out!

reply - Beat Magnum True Hero 2012/04/30 20:23:14Yes+1You should have an irrelevant button. Clinton is one single human being who wields absolutely zero political power, nor does he make any decisions that have sway on our daily lives. Ask the actual people who are directly affected by the bad economy, they'll tel you how it is.reply
- Sinpac 2012/04/30 20:21:38Yes+2President Clinton surrounded himself with smart people and go getters he got this country on track once with surplus why not let him help again!reply

+1only because he had a republican congress that he had to answer to and he listened to them unlike obama.reply - Lana hasher 2012/05/01 02:56:37
Dear heart, if the President listened to the loons that are in DC we all would be in soup lines. Would you like if he listened to their war on Woman ? The repukes never had anything to say except NOreply - Wahvlvke Lana 2012/05/05 12:49:03
Lay off the kool-aid sweetie.reply - sockpuppet 2012/04/30 19:51:32No+2Wrong direction, and we're pursuing ill-advised, costly pies-in-the-sky that we have no business undertaking right now.reply
- Pat 2012/04/30 19:27:14Yes+1Yes, I agree but the progress is slow. I think if there had been ANY cooperation from the GOP/Tea Party anywhere along the line, we would be farther ahead but they have stonewalled every initiative Obama has presented and created conflicts where there shouldn't be any as in the issue of birth control/abortion, equal pay and other women's rights. Things will get better. It's happening and we need to keep going on this track by giving Obama another 4 years with a Democratic House and Senate so we can ramp up the recovery.reply

+1Well said Pat, please get rid of Brown, he does not deserve to be their at all. I will make phone calls if needed, just let me knowreply - Pat Lana 2012/05/01 03:25:34
Yeah, I am really high on Elizabeth Warren. She's one hundred percent in the people's corner and she knows Washington and she knows the issues so I think she'd be able to get things done. Problem is that Brown is a likeable guy. I have not always agreed with his votes but a lot of the time I have. I am the suspicious type so I'm wondering if he deliberately wants to come across as a middle of the road kind of guy to appeal to Dems and well as GOP. Haven't seen any plls recently so I don't know how the race is shaping up. I think it will be close though.reply - aherbert 2012/04/30 19:24:10Yes+6Clinton knows best .... this is the guy that left us a surplus that Dubya miss used .... He is an authority of doing the right thing for America!reply
- Mike 2012/04/30 19:16:02Yes+6It's just dodgeing the GOP roadblocks to stay on the path. There built as fast as there torn down.reply

My point was obie buying billy's comments with those two ... never mind.reply - Keeping It Real 2012/04/30 18:55:21Yes+5You not only need a leader that is competent such as president Obama but someone you can trust. The Republiconteabaggers is as trust worthy as leaving a block of cheese in front of a rat and expecting it not to eat it.reply
- Lana Keeping... 2012/05/01 03:04:04
Right you are. We need to get rid of all of the repukes and bagger'sreply - luvguins 2012/04/30 18:47:31Yes+5Yes, and if we had Republicans in Congress who cared more about the American people than defeating this president from day 1 we could be recovering more rapidly by now.reply

Defeating that flop eared socialist bastard is the most caring thing for the American people that can be done.reply - luvguins Wahvlvke 2012/05/05 14:20:52

reply - ehrhornp 2012/04/30 18:44:16Yes+4Stock market has been headed in the right direction since Obama got in. GNP is above where it was prior to the G W Bush crash, and the wars look like they are ending. Obama needs to do lots more but he is a moderate and moderates generally do not take bold positions. Perhaps he will become more liberal in his second term.reply
