  what angers me about churches is they are centers for irrationality, my greatest enemy. i have nothing against the ppl who practice it, but a threat to logic is a threat to all mankind and thats something im unwilling to accept

  You really should have put a NEVER choice. I used to go but I no longer believe. I expect the only time I will enter an church again will be when my mother dies and I will do that out of respect for her.

  I was once very faithful, raised my children in the faith, sent them to religious classes, even converted my husband. And then I was hired by the church and saw things from the inside. I witnessed terrible injustices, abuse of employees and cover-ups of other abuses, even pedophilia, and the never-ending crusade for more money, money, money so the clergy could have their black angus beef cooked by a hired cook and live in a mansion maintained and cleaned on the backs of the people. If the people knew how the clergy really felt about them, they would surely faint dead away. I now know why religious people are called the "flock". It's because, if you've ever watched sheep, they never look up, they just follow the ass in front of them. They believe blindly. It's all a crock and I will never go that route again. Can you tell I'm a bit bitter?

  My church was part of THE Church. It's worldwide and the problems that I saw have been reported everywhere. It's a racket.

  I'm sorry for letting loose with all my past problems with the Church. I shouldn't have burdened you or anyone else with my bitterness toward the Church and my inability to let go of the anger I still feel. I don't think about it too much anymore and I have my own thoughts about life, death, infinity, our place in the universe, etc. I respect other people's beliefs and I hold onto my own.

  I lean toward strong agnostic, with a dash of weak agnostic, I guess. At least based on the definitions in this article.

  I operate under the "agnostic only defines half of your position on deities" that being that a/theism defines your non/belief and a/Gnosticism define your non/claim of certainty.

  I've been when I was a child untill early teens. I grew out of it. Is there a difference between 'go' and 'geaux'? I'm curious
