First, the employer did not want them back. That ought to be the end of the memo. Freedom of association means freedom to hire or fire at will. I've never had any protection from a firing.

Second, even their fellow workers did not want to work with those hopheads anymore. So why should the arbiter force them to?

No wonder social standards have fallen off the cliff! I wouldn't want a car from Chrysler of G(overnment) M(otors) period! I would'nt feel very safe driving it!

yes, they fit right in with the average obamamotor worker. GM and Chrysler, two government run businesses. and like all things government, they are costly and inefficient with lifetime employees regardless of performance or behavior. look at the kenyan president himself.

I believe the Arbitrator must have been off camera when the film was being taken. How else could this judge possibility say there were insufficient findings for their dismissal?

Fire them fast!!! Obviously they aren't afraid of drug testing! I think ford or Honda..who ever, should run commercials showing why we should buy their make vs chevy, with these boys puffing away! If this is what Chevy produces then let the people know what they are buying I'm sure stoners don't even want to buy an auto stoners have build while stoned! If its true that the employer didn't want them back which I can't imagine they did, that's a sign of the times. Then unions gotta go. Fat chance.

Remind me not to buy a Chrysler product. It just isn't worth the risk if this is indicative of the type of employee responsible for the safety and quality workmanship we expect when we place ourselves and our families inside a vehicle.

The fact that they even go their jobs back is the reason why unions have outlasted thier usefullness...... it is the same reason why bad teachers remain in the classroom.....

I will stick with buying Fords for the time being...... I will certainly not buy a Chrysler or GM with that kind of effort being put into the equation...... If they go belly-up, then so be it, and do not balme anyone but yourselves......

Chrysler will have to go to China just to keep going. No sane person would put their children in vehicles produced by drinking and drugging guys, that means Chrysler folks. Like there aren't enough recalls already?

Nope, if they were caught drinking or smoking pot during working hours, then they should have been fired immediately. I certainly don't want some drunk guy putting my car together.

Should be pretty easy for management to write them up 3 or 4 times quickly then bounce them out of there.

Sure! Are they doing their job accordingly? Do they get the job done on time? If so, have their jobs back and no more party on the job! Penalized but not fired. May be company culture.

Should they not also be charged with a misdemeanor for smoking an illegal drug too? Makes me really want to go purchase a car made b y this company too. I sure there Quality assurance is top notch considering the caliber of their employees.
