Christian Church Teaches Mixed Martial Arts: Would Jesus Approve Of The Smack Down?

A new phenomenon is sliding it's way into some churches across the United States, and it's not exactly that coherent with the peaceful teachings of Christianity.
It's called mixed martial arts, and some churches are using it to attract new converts. Xtreme Ministries, a church in Nashville that moonlights as a martial arts academy, was founded by John Renken. The school's motto?
“Where Feet, Fist and Faith Collide.”
Recruitment entails inviting others to the church to watch MMA matches and discuss how Christ "fought" for what he believed in. Oddly enough, I don't remember Jesus taking a right hook to someone, but I could be wrong. The pastors of this movement hope that this re-imaging of Jesus could help bring in more converts and bring a little machismo to the faith.
But do you approve of using Mixed Martial Arts in the church? Would Jesus (who generally spoke of peace) approve of such a promotion?

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
... I'm not a religious person either ? weird..
If they truly feel like "they are nothing" then fighting is not a way to reach them. To let them know that Christ loves them, individually, that he cares about them...to me, that would be a much better way to "reach" them.
If we are talking about the same Jesus, his message was one of peace and serenity. You tell me not to judge, but you have already judged me. Whether there is anger or not, hurting one another is NOT what Christ would want his children to do. There are soldiers who don't feel anger for their enemy. They kill because it's their job, not necessarily because they want to. And yet I doubt you'd say that to reach them, we should join them in killing others. Anger is not the issue. It is the physical and/or emotional pain that is being issued. God would not want that and neither should anyone else.
And you don't need to preach to me that Christ died on the cross to save us all. I know that. But it is OUR choice whether to accept that saving grace or not.
