Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts reversed his thinking and sided with the liberal justices.

Chief Justice John Roberts was set to join his conservative colleagues and vote to strike down President Obama’s health care reform law, but then changed his mind, according to a CBS News report.

Justice Anthony Kennedy tried to get Roberts back on course to strike the mandate down.

I recall at the time this was heard by the court, some pundits were saying Roberts had an aversion to activisim from the bench.
