Mike Huckabee is pleased as punch, of course: Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day succeeded "beyond anything I could have imagined." He's right! Minor traffic jams in front of the restaurants, lines looping and double-looping for drive-through or walk-up orders, competitors changing their own signs to get into the spirit of the thing!
PS: their opponents will counter-demonstrate tomorrow. Here is how one Christian man suggests that people answer that:

Because she's dead.
The dust-up brought them; the product will keep them. Now *that*'s managing the moment.
Just this afternoon, the kissy facers began arriving at the local CFA's to get an early start on their kiss-in. Many were made to leave because they were loitering. The militant gays will either have to support CFA and buy things to stay or they'll have to do their kiss fest across the street.
That has made my day.
Be prepared tomorrow. Chances are good the militant or some of their Liberal flunkies will try violent tactics. It's in their natures.
Chick-fil-A has great food!
Anyway, I was wondering why this became such a hot button issue the other day and thanks to Temlakos, it hit me. While we were fighting over chicken sandwiches and whether or not embracing gay marriage was tantamount to terrorism, our congress cleared way for the president, current and future, to bypass the senate for their appointments and give them more broad powers than they've had before. This is treacherous at worst and lazy at best, if we're just going to give all the power to the president than why even have a congress? And didn't the whole Trayvon thing take place when the NDAA was passed? Call me paranoid but I think this is all a distraction for something worse.
But back to the issue at hand: My beliefs in God didn't end thousands of years ago and I don't trust men in robes who say they're the voice of the holy simply because they stand in a building in a cross on top of it. I can only go by my reasoning and the law of the land. Does allowing gay marriage impede your right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness? No. Does the separation of church and state...

I can only go by my reasoning and the law of the land. Does allowing gay marriage impede your right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness? No. Does the separation of church and state mean that the government can force your religion to conduct gay marriages? No. So with that said, how is supporting this consistent with American ideals of freedom and not looking to implement a Christian version of Sharia Law in the United States? Any logical responses are welcome; any graphics of babies crying or namecalling will be a waste of time.
I chose to stand with them in protest!
Grace to you, Glory to God!
I went even though I haven't been to one of their outlets in over 3 years.
I felt the need to make a statement for our freedom. There aren't many ways for ordinary folks like myself to make a splash....Aug . 1rst did that.
I plan to go Friday also.
