Cheyenne Cherry Cat Killer: What should Cherry's sentence be?

Cheyenne Cherry, 17 year old monster, ransacked an apartment and left a kitten to die in a 500 degree oven. Cherry broke into a former roommates apartment, destroyed furniture, and then left the cat "Tiger Lily" in blistering hot over to roast to death. Cheyenne is being charged with animal cruelty and other charges by the Bronx Supreme Court. Cherry and her boyfriend were also convicted for using a BB gun to dog-nap a Yorkie, and robbing a man at gunpoint for his iPod. Animal Activists are signing petitions to make sure Cherry gets a harsher punishment. Cherry will be doing time in jail, but the sentence has not been decided.

    I think that she should be put in a oven at 500 degrees and see how she likes it. I have 5 cats and 4 dogs. You let someone hurt on of them it ain't gonna be pretty. They just want to be loved. This really pisses me off.

    Psychologists are pretty much in agreement that people who abuse animals cannot be trusted with people either. She needs to be in jail for the rest of her life so that she doesn't get ticked off with someone's baby or her grandmother or whoever and decide their fate, also. I hope the judge realizes that he (or she) may have the lives and potential horrible deaths of future victims in their hands and act accordingly.

    500 hours of community service in an animal shelter, or being tried as an adult for at least three felonies with 5-10 in prison. Let the girl make her choice.
    If she screws up the community service, she will immediately be remanded to adult criminal court.
    Fix her little red wagon but good.

    5-10 years, unfortunately with the way our judicial system is run she will most likely get no more than that..... Poor kitty.

    20 to 25 years in prison with no chance of parole. It is time to start making people be responsible for the killing, maiming and cruelty to the innocent animals of this Earth. God gave us dominion of these animals, that means we are to be the caretakers. An act of callousness this awful is beyond me.

    She's only 17. She's a juvenile offender. She's too young to understand that what she did was wrong. She probably had an underprivileged upbringing, too. Her parents probably never let her have a kitten of her own. All we have to do is give her an hour or two of professional counseling and a nice, big hug and she'll be a model citizen for the rest of her life.

    Come on, people, where's your compassion? Besides, she's cute. Do you think she has a sister who isn't completely WHACKED?

    Serious jailtime, but in a mental facility where she can get some much needed help for her sociopathic behavior. Jail by itself, will only increase her tendency to become more violent and completely dettached in the future, creating a much more dangerous threat to society!

    Folks we can not put her in an oven, though it sounds appropriate. What needs to transpire is that everyone should inundate the court where she is being charged with demands that she be tried on all three charges and if convicted she is then additionally charged as an habitual offender. If this court does not have the authority or the gumption to try a person as a habitual offender then they should mandate this case to a court that does.
    Between roasting the kitten, the BB gun fiasco and the armed robbery at gun point being convicted on all three felonies should be enough for her to be charged as a habitual criminal. If this is the case she would be imprisoned for life.
    We have to look beyond Tiger Lilly’s horrific demise and see the other the crimes this person committed. Then ask, “What is she capable of if she is ever free to walk among the law abiding again?”
    I do have to admit I also liked the one comment of sending her to North Korea. What a wonderful idea North Korea needs money they could turn that country into a penal colony and take in all the lifers in the world. The countries sending these inmates would pay North Korea half the expense of the cost that would be spent on retaining them in their own penal systems. Then use the saved monies to attempt to rehabilita...

    Second though just send all felons to North Korea. Rehabilitation could be a natural residual after say five or ten years in a prison as notorious as North Korea, China or Japan. These countries see criminals for what they are and treat them accordingly.

    Realisticly she should serve 5 yrs. Sorry but I think animal abuse cases always get too light a sentence. Ideally, I'd like to see her get 5 yrs in constant 110 degree heat, morning, noon, and night, every single day of those five yrs. Not hot enough to kill her, just hot enough to make her WISH she was dead !

    Aside from the same punishment......She deserves to get at least 20 years....however we all know she won't. AHHHHH, this really makes me angry. If she is capable of doing that to a kitten imagine what she is capable of doing to a human.
