Odumbo has nothing left but shallow accusations. Just how much cash has Obama squirreled away in those Swiss bank accounts of his? How much money has he funneled to his Muslim Terrorist buddies? Obumma has spent more of our money on his frivolous vacations and ludicrous schemes than any other president in history. Not to mention all the lies he's told, and the lies he's told to cover those. It's high time for him to GO!!!!
I moved up to a mountain top for the summer with no TV, computer, or tech gadgets except guitars, mics and amps. It was great! Had to come back to civilization before this election so I could watch Obama win but crashed my car in a rainstorm a week ago. Just got back from chiropractor and still have one eye not healed yet; the retinas hemorrhaged when I went backwards off embankment into flooded creek bed and landed on the rocks. I am so very grateful to be here!!!
I have a feeling SH will get even more crazy as the polls continue to improve for the President. I've already seen several attacking each other. lol.
Good grief, we are all lucky you are still with us.
That sounds like a great place. I used to go to a place near Big Sur, CA for writing. It was a lodge on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. No phone, no TV, just me and my computer, and the sound of the pounding surf on the rocks below. And then a bit of wine on the balcony while watching the sunsets over the ocean.
Then the lady who owned the place sold it to a corporation, and they turned it into a commercial monstrosity. I haven't found another like it, but I will keep trying.
Thank you! Everyone who saw it said it was a miracle I am alive. It was a pretty shocking crash, enough to be on 6:00 news.
Your place sounds wonderful too. I've dreamed often of huge rocks in surf and saw something very similar near Big Sur. Really loved getting back in touch with nature too. Amazingly enough, the place I had is owned by a corporation; it is the guest house. CEO offered it to me free of charge for 6 months to write and play new tunes. Possibly opening up again after October guest leaves. Sweet! I hope your muse brings you a similar place soon.
So do I. It looks like the corporation that owns your place has more sense. The one in Big Sur decided to cater to upscale customers, which left me out. The entire Big Sur area is getting like that.
Let's hope you don't do a repeat of your accident. That one sounds like enough for a lifetime.
They are. Memory foam inventor. The CEO does my recording on the side. Awesome friend, he is a total genius. I love intelligent folks.
Amen to that one! This is 2nd time I've totaled a car and walked away from it. Someone out there must really like me. I got 2 calls from friends who heard about it through dreams of people who've passed on who told them to call & check on me. Gotta' love it.
Not into 'organized religion' at all but very much on Native American path, thus the Cherokee name for 'Raven', Golanv. I believe in Mitakuye Oyasin, ('We are all related' in Lakota Sioux.) This includes rocks, water, trees, sky, earth, all creatures, 2 and 4 leggeds, everything as part of the One. First people believe Great Spirit (God) is Love, Light, Energy. Literally. I experienced this in NDE and then found Native way closest to what I saw. I also like the Tao, the even path. Similar to walking in balance in the Native way. Interesting that you ask. In the accident when I went off the road backwards I cried out, "Save me God!" and then relaxed. A great calm came over me, I was actually surrounded with a white, pearly light, and I rode it out. When I hit the rocks in water I got scared but then saw white light around me as glass and everything in the car was flying by me. I was hit by none of it. Yeah, it'll make a believer out of you. Just not a Bible thumping one.
I am in the early stages of conversion to Zen Buddhism. The meditation has been touch and go for me, but there was one time I believe I saw the white light you mention while in meditation, and I hadn't taken any pharmaceuticals to enhance the effect. It only happened that one time.
In one of my former lives I was a photojournalist as well as a newspaperman, and I became well acquainted with the members of an Ojibwa reservation near Ashland, Wisconsin. One Memorial Day I was invited to the part of their burial ground where the chiefs were interred, and they told me I could take pictures. My feelings were mixed while I took my photos: joy at this bit of good luck, and a sobering understanding of the honor they had granted me by being in that section, let alone being allowed to photograph the graves.
Then we all went to a pavilion for a fabulous feast, featuring buffalo meat, which became my new favorite.
Wow. That IS an honor! I live near the Cherokee reservation here in the Smokies but have never been to the burial grounds. I did live for a while across the road from a Cherokee chief's grave and used to go there to sit. I dreamed of him afterwards. Zen is something I am also into except I am such a 'stuff magnet'. Buffalo (abundance) is my main totem. The cool thing about my eyes right now is that I am able to get rid of the blind spot in my vision when I close my eyes and superimpose the inner vision over it. I've been just looking at night sky and stars. It has made it easier to find the connection to meditative state so there is a good lesson in this. I've been a bit afraid of relaxing into meditation since I first left my body as a teen and had no idea what was happening. Now I do it occasionally and always access the Light when I do. When I'm doing Light work I have sometimes seen my hands glowing through my closed eyelids and had others say they could see them glowing too. Cool stuff.
That is very cool. I have not reached that point yet, partly because there always seems to be something else to be done. I need to make time and shut everything else out.
It looks like you are on the right path. I'm glad you have returned to us in one piece.
Nice being able to ensure a $200 million college fund for each daughter, I'm sure that most could not, aside from winning a lottery. And all this since he was elected to public office. Damn! I need that job!
Of course, Obama is only worth about $11 million, which he somehow produced since 2008, and it would be a bit much to expect Him to have his wealth as wide flung as Romney.
But it would seem that the fellow advocating the wealthy pay more in tax, or should Not invest in companys that export jobs would not set up tax shelters or invest in off shore job creation.
Not to mention the number of millionares in his Cabinet!! Glad they have time for the poor And working class!
LOL The gov has the nerve to complain about the LENGTH OF HIS RETURNS?? THEY set that. They make the tax law he is following not only to the letter but beyond it in that he could have paid a cool half a mill less by claiming his charitible giving.
He paid out in taxes and in charity almost HALF of his income. Gave double what he paid in taxes in charity. What a monster right??
What else is he hiding? Oh man if you look deep enough I bet you will find he gave away money he didnt even keep track of...pocket money.... How do we stop this crap right??
He paid in charity EXACTLY what his tax lawyers told him would maximize his benefits and what the Mormon Church requires in tithing. You realize that 10% goes to the Mormon Church right? Some "Charity." Maybe if dickheads like Romney paid as much as a teacher does, there wouldn't be so much need for charity.
--not only that Romney himself says he doesn't keep track of that it's a "blind trust" so how can he take credit for being so "charitable?"
Are you capable of understanding the fact that there are different kinds of income? The rates of tax on those types very. That is a liberal thing hun, not a (R) thing.
He paid nearly 39% in charity. Not 10%, but hey you are welcome to be as wrong as you want to be!!
And NO you are either wrong (and I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt here) or outright lieing. He could have paid nearly half a mill less in tax had he simply CLAIMED the charity.
Romney and his wife, Ann, paid more taxes than they had to in 2011, choosing not to claim deductions for $1.8 million in charitable donations. The Romneys donated just over $4 million to charity in 2011 but claimed deductions on only $2.25 million.
If you run a blog from a network where they are interviewing someone with the Romney campaign, you are going to get info favorable to the Romneys. Don't tell me you are shocked by this.
Since you mentioned CBS, they also do interviews with the candidates and with campaign workers, and guess what? Each of them is favorable to the person being interviewed. Even I could have told you that.
Obama graduated the head of the Harvard Law Review... he could have been an uber rich corporate lawyer at any firm he wanted. Instead he dedicated his life to public service helping his community and those around the country, negotiated deals to end the proliferation of loose nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union and make the world a better place. --That's the main reason for his Nobel Peace Prize --100% of the money from which he donated to charity.
The corporate lawyer thing would have been rough for Ozero.. He and his wife had to give up their law licenses or be disbarred,,.. So, he needed to make bucks somehow.. Raping the US was one way
"Raping the country" You're thinking of Robme. Who couldn't get a law license for all the money he stole away in the Kaymans... because you actually have be smart enough to pass a test.
As you can see, all is love and peace at SH these days. ;-)
I have a feeling SH will get even more crazy as the polls continue to improve for the President. I've already seen several attacking each other. lol.
