It was a pretty good ad but not nearly as effective as the one with Mitt Romney singing America the Beautiful badly out of tune. Now that ad is getting an awful lot of airtime where I live and IMO its brutal and very effective in illustrating just how out of touch Mitt is to most Americans. Sadly in my state nothing will make a difference but I hope they're playing it in the swing states nonstop as well where it probably is changing some people's minds about Mitt Romney.
The ad sums up what's going on nicely! No one can tell me Trump has worked any harder for his money than I have...HIS sense of entitlement is ridiculous. Greed is an addication equal to that of a cocaine addict. Doctors have proven it to be true.
Shocking how shamelessly the connedservatives advocate for this while hoping the US public doesn't get wise. Or that there are so many cons in the middle class who relentlessly vote against what's in their best interests? Guess you really can't fix stupid.
That is the understatement of the year ... Mittens rMoney not the man for the job ... I mean if you are a billionaire then he is your guy however ... for regular folk like me ... Mittens is not the man.
It would be good. But that would make the ad longer, and the whole idea is to have a strong ad with a powerful message that is short, as to have more airtime for less money.
Texas is one red state so we haven't seen a single ad . I get a kick out of this one and , of course, of Mitt singing.
Willard is making all sorts of tax promises.... yet he refuses to say how he will pay for them. He wants to beef up our bloated and fraud friendly military, so that means he would have to find the money elsewhere. Only two places left... taking an axe to Medicare and SS. This is another one of those things that Romney says should only be talked about
" in quiet rooms".
At first I thought you meant they were not allowed on TV. But now I realize that the Obama campaign is not buying ads in Texas as it would be a waste of money.
Really explain to us what is it like to be a Democrat in Texas. It sounds a little like Hell on earth.
No GOP ads and no Dem ads. It would be a waste of money that would be better spent in the battleground states. Our governor is a Republican and the legislators are GOP. There are a handful of Democrats, but their voices are just a squeak.
I am a Democrat. I think Rick Perry is a first class moron, but fortunately he is usually off on the tax payers' dime, touring the country and telling his "Texas story"... whatever the hell that is. By law, Lt Gov David Dewhurst must step up into the governor's role, for which taxpayers pony up another $486 per day. But he is far better than Gov. Good Hair.
I have much admiration for our two Republican senators, especially Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison who truly loves this state. She has fought hard for maintenance of the ship channel, for NASA, for the ranchers along the border ( GWB's fence) who would have lost much of their ranch land if not for her, and for the giant energy sector in Houston.
It appears Ted Cruz will replace the retiring Hutchison. All indicators say he is more devoted to the Tea Party than to Texas. That makes sense, because it was outside money... not Texas money... that got him elected.
I like any ad that tells the truth about the Republican attempt to sell off our Democracy to their wealthy donors and corporate masters. Let's hope the message gets through to the middle class before it's too late. The other 98% will never have enough money to buy it back.
I like the ad but I wish he would put one out about the obstructionism of the republican party and how Obama could have made the unemployment rate lower if not for them. Vote democrat!!
How right you are about that one. There's some people who think genocide against white people is happening because foreigners are immigrating to Europe.
As usual the ad is misleading and lieing about the tax increase . It would be nice if both party's would come out and say this is what we can do for you instead of lieing or having misleading ads .
