in a sense, I think I should have opted for the "Yes" answer, I think everyone should put his/her country before his/her party, I just don't find proof in this video that that is primarily what has occurred. The guy obviously likes Obama, but the sense the guy exudes, at least to me, is that his assessment of BHO is not the type of cerebral assessment I find implied by the intro, but is something that comes out of the guy at a more gut level. I like people like that - I'm glad there's other kinds of people on this earth, too, but I like them - more power to him.

That was the cutest thing, I have seen in a long time. Where was the Secret Service? His business was plummeted for that display with bad ratings. Until supporters of Obama started to fight back and weigh in with good ratings for his pizza shop. Myth Robme's campaign is starting to implode. Nate Silver of 538.com, is predicting 318 for Obama vs 189 for Robme in electoral votes on 11/6. You need 270. A little early and before the money bombardment, but Obama is leading in every swing state except one. Come on Irene!

There are plenty of Republicans who support President Obama & will be voting for him in 2012. I have seen their group on Facebook & I highly respect them. It's wonderful to see people on the other side of the aisle who love their country & have not fallen prey to the vapid hate we have seen for the past 4 years.

I loved watching the interaction between this gentleman & President Obama.

You seem to be chock-full of gratuitously nasty things to say about someone whose personal history is replete with stories of notable acts of charity and personal kindness. You want to attack the soundness of Mr. Romney's theories of government and economic growth? BMG However, since Mr. Romney has been receiving Secret Service protection since February, I find your speculation as to what his 'security people" might do a bit amusing, since they presumably are the same as BHO's, and wholly consistent with my prior observations of an animus on your part towards Mr. Romney that transcends mere political opposition. It is your juvenile commentary on the operation of Mr. Romney's alimentary canal, however, which I found most distasteful, and which, upon rereading, should alert you to the idea that you might be letting your political involvement become a bit too personally immersive. There's no need to thank me for my concern; have a nice day.

Romney's alimentary canal is his mouth, every time he opens it the entire country is in danger of dysentery. The flood on traceable lies coming out of Ryan's is almost on a par with Romney's . Between the two of them we should have a serious heath crisis before November even arrives.

Myth Robme told some college kids at a rally, to ask their parents for money for college. In Louisiana he told a woman whose home was flooded out, to call a few charities. That sounds like a man who seroiusly cares about people, yes? While he intends, to give the rich a ANOTHER tax cut, if elected. So sad. That really shows a whole lot of heart. Cheers.

Could you be just a tad more informative in making your accusations? I find nothing inappropriate whatsoever about telling many college students of whose personal circumstances I am quite well informed that I, as a taxpayer, have already funded much more of the cost of their college educations than I would like and that I would want to see far greater efforts by they themselves and by their parents before I would like to see aid for college students significantly expanded at the expense of State and federal taxpayers. There are others I have seen really struggle. Do you know which group your alleged "college kids at a rally" came from? Do you have a reason to suspect I do? If you cited me to a news report of the event to which you refer, perhaps I could make some headway in that regard.

As to the woman in Louisiana, had she recited a list of efforts she'd made to secure assistance that omitted private charity? If so, do you think Romney should have refused to make the suggestion he did? Why? Don't brush that off, I'm curious - why do you think he should have foregone the suggestion? And hold your angry response for a second if, in fact, the lady from Louisiana made no such recitation, because I'd like to know why you expect that I would know that? Is there a report of the...

Is there a report of the event available that might let me make my own observations on the matter? There are an awful lot of people on this site who are far more interested in heat than light, at least when engaging those whom they perceive as their opponents in discussion, you might ask yourself as to whether you are one of them.

As for Mitt Romney, not that you specifically asked, but accounts of his personal charitable nature can be found in the book The Real Romney, by Michael Kranish and Scott Helman, various informative references to which can readily be found online.

Now let me hear your argument for what this stupid Romney did today. You guys had better listen to Laura Ingraham and get some other people to run. This man is gone with the wind. He has no idea which planet he is on. Shut the front door. His GOP friends are calling his campaign, a total mess, a Lehman Brother''s moment, was just played out. This game is just about over. GOP, go home. By the by, I have decided not to try to persuade people like you, who have no intention of opening up, to reality and sensibility. Cheers.

You really have a penchant for demanding that those with whom you disagree defend vaguely referenced positions, don't you? As to your "[decision] not to try to persuade people like [me]", that's certainly your call. I will readily admit, though, that the powers of reasoning, articulation, and persuasion you have demonstrated on this thread - starting with your seeming inability to identify in a meaningful fashion events you cite as being of significance - leads me to think you're saving both of us a lot of time. Thank you.

This week in my opinion, has been Myth Robme's Lehman Brothers moment. The debates can't come fast enough. I want this over. Myth can only win this election if he steals it. Obama is leading in 8 out of 9 swing states. Cheers.
