Could you be just a tad more informative in making your accusations? I find nothing inappropriate whatsoever about telling many college students of whose personal circumstances I am quite well informed that I, as a taxpayer, have already funded much more of the cost of their college educations than I would like and that I would want to see far greater efforts by they themselves and by their parents before I would like to see aid for college students significantly expanded at the expense of State and federal taxpayers. There are others I have seen really struggle. Do you know which group your alleged "college kids at a rally" came from? Do you have a reason to suspect I do? If you cited me to a news report of the event to which you refer, perhaps I could make some headway in that regard.

As to the woman in Louisiana, had she recited a list of efforts she'd made to secure assistance that omitted private charity? If so, do you think Romney should have refused to make the suggestion he did? Why? Don't brush that off, I'm curious - why do you think he should have foregone the suggestion? And hold your angry response for a second if, in fact, the lady from Louisiana made no such recitation, because I'd like to know why you expect that I would know that? Is there a report of the event available that might let me make my own observations on the matter? There are an awful lot of people on this site who are far more interested in heat than light, at least when engaging those whom they perceive as their opponents in discussion, you might ask yourself as to whether you are one of them.
