Chavez Tells Obama He Should Follow Venezuela’s Socialist Path

March 6 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez comments on U.S. President Barack Obama and the state of the U.S. economy. He made the remarks today on Venezuelan state television.
“It’s regrettable the crisis that the U.S. is living through. Millions of workers are being left in the street, thousands of companies are closing, in the U.S. there isn’t a single new infrastructure project. Go look for a highway there, the country has gone bust.”
“Now President Obama arrived with some announcements, hopefully, but the capitalist model and its perverse values have failed.”
“I recommend to Obama -- they’re criticizing him because they say he’s moving towards socialism -- come Obama, ally with us on the path to socialism, it’s the only road.”
“Imagine a socialist revolution in the U.S. Nothing is impossible.”

Please NOTE my use of the word *FREE* three times as in FREEDOM.
Face it, Obama's mother was known to friends as a "fellow traveler" (for the uninitiated that means someone who sympathizes with socialism/communism). His own self-proclaimed "mentor" as a teenager was a radical, card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, Frank Marshall Davis, at a time the CPUSA took its orders from Moscow.
Obama learned his skills at "community organizing" from the teachings of another radical socialist, Saul Alinsky, author of the book "Rules For Radicals." Leaving aside his association with the radical Bill Ayers, Obama sat for twenty years, two decades, listening to the radical sermons of Marxist-inspired Black Liberation Theology.
It would be more surprising if Obama turned out NOT to be a Marxist-socialist, not that he is one - he is four for four, with all of the major influences in his life being Marxists.

Panarin argued that Americans are in moral decline, saying their great psychological stress is evident from school shootings, the size of the prison population and the number of gay men.
Turning to economic woes, he cited the slide in major stock indexes, the decline in U.S. gross domestic product and Washington's bailout of banking giant Citigroup as evidence that American dominance of global markets has collapsed.
"I was there recently and things are far from good," he said. "What's happened is the collapse of the American dream."
Panarin insisted he didn't wish for a U.S. collapse, but he predicted Russia and China would emerge from the economic turmoil stronger and said the two nations should work together, even to create a new currency to replace the U.S. dollar.
Asked for comment on how the Foreign Ministry views Panarin's theories, a spokesman said all questions had to be submitted in writing and no answers were likely before Wednesday.
It wasn't clear how persuasive the 20-minute lecture was. One instructor asked Panarin whether his predictions more accurately describe Russia, which is undergoing its worst economic crisis in a decade as well as a demographic collapse that has led some scholars to predict the country's demise.
Panarin dismissed that idea: "The collapse of Russia will not occur."
But Alexei Malashenko, a scholar-in-residence at the Carnegie Moscow Center who did not attend the lecture, sided with the skeptical instructor, saying Russia is the country that is on the verge of disintegration.
"I can't imagine at all how the United States could ever fall apart," Malashenko told the AP.
Yep, that was sarcasm.
