During a CNN appearance on Wednesday, Charlie Crist said of Obama's stimulus package:
"I didn't endorse it. I didn't even have a vote on the darn thing. ... But I understood that it was gonna pass and I wanted to be able to utilize it for the benefit of my fellow Floridians."
Charlie Crist during a February 23 TV interview on the White House lawn:
Q: You've broken with some in your own party to back this stimulus; tell me why.
CHARLIE CRIST: "Because Florida needs it frankly."
This quote and more on Crist's love for the stimulus package from this Rubio campaign YouTube video:
Oh what a difference eight months and a Republican primary make. In other Crist v. Rubio news, the NRSC announced Wednesday that it won't spend any money on Crist's behalf in the primary.

Join me in supporting true conservative Marco Rubio over lying RINO Charlie Crist.
Crist is a RINO.

.Senator John MCCAIN PLAYED MAJOR ROLE IN CRIST'S 2006 campaign for governor. MCCAIN ENDORSED CRIST and traveled the state campaigning with him.
The day before the general election, CRIST chose to hold a CAMPAIGN EVENT WITH MCCAIN in Jacksonville.
.
A few short months later when the Republican
Presidential primary debates were held in St. Petersburg, CRIST PHYSICALLY EMBRACED MCCAIN and offered a more tepid welcome to the other presidential candidates.
On January 26, 2008, Crist PUBLICLY ENDORCED MCCAIN in the Republican primary race, saying, "He's a great friend and will do a great job for the United States."
MCCAIN later WON THE PRIMARY by five percentage points.
Many CREDTED CRIST'S ENDORSEMENT for the WIN. which gave MCCAIN AN ADVANTAGE going into Super Tuesday.
---> In May 2008, CRIST, Louisiana governor Bobby JINDAL, former Massachusetts governor Mitt ROMNEY, spent MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT MCCAIN'S Sedona, Arizona home
---> Several PRESS OUTLETS REPORTED that the INVITED GUESTS WERE INDEED being CONCIDERED for the NUMBER TWO SPOT on the REPUBLICAN TICKET.

The McCain camp stated there was WIDE SPREAD VOTER REGISTRATION FRAUD occurring in various states, INCLUDING FLORIDA. and community activism group ACORN may be responsible; CRIST stated that he believed such REPORTS WERE "EXAGGERATED" and that HE DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM with the voter registration GROUP KNOWN AS ACORN as it operates in the state of Florida.
On October 28, 2008 CRIST EXTENDED EARLY VOTING HOURS operation and declared that a "STATE OF EMERGENCY EXISTS"
(Some Republican operatives were disappointed with the decision, including one anonymous source who said :
"HE JUST BLEW FLORIDA FOR JOHN MCCAIN "
Various media outlets and observers speculated that CRIST MADE THE DECISION OUT OF VINDICTIVENESS toward MCCAIN SNUBBING HIM for the VICE PRESIDENT POSTION , or to position himself for re-election in 2010.
CRIST announced May 12, 2009 that he will NOT RUN for RE-ELECTION AS GOVERNOR and will INSTEAD run for the US SENATE IN 2010. CRIST was also mentioned as a " POTENTIAL 2012 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE".

Party is over Charlie! You have screwed us to the max!
I hope the next time I see you is in the unemployment line!
You will NOT be elected to Senate. You will NOT be re-elected as governor.
Crawl back under the rock you slithered out from under!
A mistake I will NEVER make again!!
I like Rubio. A true American. Charlie will not even make it through the primarys!
He would have to remove his tongue from the Kenyan's nethercrack.
Too late. It is stuck there permanently!
I can't imagine such a loser.
Nothing is scarier than Crist in the Senate! Or a second term as "governor"!!!
He'll spin it whichever way gets him what he wants.
The sooner RINO Crist is out of public office the better. As a Floridian my vote will be cast for Rubio.
He's also into the insurance industry pretty heavily. Florida has some of the biggest insurance problems in the country, untouched by its beloved governor. In fact, during his campaign and immediately after, he acknowledged the severith of the problem and said... 'we're not going to address that for two years'.
Way to go, Charlie.
