- You don't have to be an economic genius to figure out that the input of cash is less than the output of cash by the Federal government. That's one of the primary reasons people are protesting across this nation. We can't keep doing this the way we're doing it. They are playing politics with it, plain and simple.

A plan to slash more than $500 billion from future Medicare spending — one of the biggest sources of funding for President Obama's proposed overhaul of the nation's health-care system — would sharply reduce benefits for some senior citizens and could jeopardize access to care for millions of others, according to a government evaluation released Saturday.
The report, requested by House Republicans, found that Medicare cuts contained in the health package approved by the House on Nov. 7 are likely to prove so costly to hospitals and nursing homes that they could stop taking Medicare altogether.

Rasmussen Reports data shows that Mr. Obama's net presidential approval rating -- which is calculated by subtracting the number who strongly disapprove from the number who strongly approve -- is just six, his lowest rating to date.
M.E. CohenOverall, Rasmussen Reports shows a 56%-43% approval, with a third strongly disapproving of the president's performance. This is a substantial degree of polarization so early in the administration. Mr. Obama has lost virtually all of his Republican support and a good part of his Independent support, and the trend is decidedly negative.

Here's some math for ya. They plan to increase revenues by 7.6%. However, I cannot find any projection that says personal and business income are to increase by that much. So how does the government plan to increase their receipts, when the taxpayer's incomes aren't going up that much? By increasing taxes.
Oh, and it won't be increased for ONLY the wealthy (who tend to contribute handsomely to political campaigns).

Exactly how is forcing Americans to buy health care at the penalty of prison time "supporting and defending" - or even following - the Constitution?
How is cutting off debate and forcing fellow members to vote on far-reaching legislation they not have time to read "supporting and defending" the Constitution?
How is recklessly spending money we do not have (or ever hope to have) - thus spiraling the nation into inexorable bankruptcy and relegating the nation to future third-world status - "well and faithfully" discharging one's duties?
And where is the press, that supposed "watchdog of democracy," while our nation is systematically destroyed from within by crass politicians beholden to a foreign ideology hostile to representative democracy and interested only in furthering their own influence and enjoying the perks of power?
