White House spokesman Jay Carney said a video from 1998, which purportedly features President Obama speaking about 'redistribution' and now being circulated by Mitt Romney, is the work of a campaign having 'a very bad day or a very bad week.' (Sept. 19)

Redistribution of wealth = Allocation of resources

Good government wisely and effectively allocates resources (redistributes wealth).

Allocating Resources, ie Redistributing Wealth, is a major Function of government.

One can see the fear in Romney's eyes and hear the desperation in his voice when he speaks. It is pathetic to see how he is drowning and floundering around searching for anything at all to cling to in order to save his political life.. I pray he never finds it.

The important thing is in spite of his unwillingness to reveal what he really plans on doing or any facts about himself, taxes, religious beliefs etc, he is very successfully revealing what the GOP stands for!

Actually, Fariborz-Zak is probably right. If GWBush didn't have the balls to carry out such a stupid plan (it was seriously threatened at least twice by the GWBush administration), what makes you think Mittens has more guts? Romney certainly knows the effect such an action would have on the global economy, and the US economy. No one in his business could be ignorant of such things.
