Canadian Talk Show Host Destroys Obama Over Keystone Decision. Do you agree with him?

safari 2012/03/09 19:36:38
I agree with Ezra Lavant that obama is bowing to Arabian oil producers rather than act in the best interest of America.
Obama lied during his 2008 campaign when he said in ten years we would be free of Mid East Oil.
Obama told the truth when he said he would fundamentally transform America (but he didn't mean it in a good way.)

This is a must see! Ezra Levant of The Source, a Sun News show, has really done his homework and profound research on obama's energy promises versus his idiotic actions since he made them. Be sure to watch it in whole and pay attention to the map of the alleged "pristine" environmentally sensitive area through which it would pass. Even the EPA has given the project the green light. obama is NOT acting in the best interest of America with his halting of the Keystone Pipeline and his true loyalties are exposed.

Of course Egobama is not acting in the best interest of America. He is acting in the best interest of Soros,, Buffet, Zuckerberg, and many other of his big supporters who stand to be the big financial winners as long as Keystone XL is denied.

The main reason for the Keystone Pipeline is to transport North American oil to a place where it can easily be loaded onto a supertanker, and placed on the global market, forcing us to bid against the rest of the world for the privilege of using our own oil. Building this pipeline will forcibly take away a lot of people's property by eminent domain and will create very few permanent jobs. A much cheaper and more ecologically sane decision would be to pipe this oil to an already existing refinery closer to the market where Americans can use it or to build a new refinery and create many permanent high paying American jobs !

Unfortunately, neither party seems to be very interested in serving America's best interests.

0bama is looking out for his own: The Muslim Brotherhood, 0PEC, Marxists, LaRaza, non-taxpaying corporations like GE, fake environmentally friendly companies, and any other entities that are anti-American.

If it's good for America, 0bama is against it. If it's bad for America, 0bama is for it.

The fact is there is already capacity in existing pipelines and the Canadians don't really care about getting cheap oil to the US. All they care about getting it to refineries on the Gulf Coast where it will be made into Diesel fuel for export.

Of course Canadian companies want to make money. That's what business is all about! Making a profit!

It doesn't matter whether the Canadians have our best interests as their primary motivation or not. We should at least have that as OUR motivation.

What I am not seeing here are the facts on the oil itself or why this was actually delayed. Canadian oil is heavy and sticky the cost is more to extract so I believe we are talking about oil sands.. now if you want to look all that up but I think i have this ...In proposed EU legislation, oil from oil sands is given a greenhouse gas value of 107 grams of carbon per megajoule of energy produced, compared with conventional crude's allocation of 87.5 grams. Not such a stupid President after all is he :) but you just keep being sheeple it seems to be what some do best.

The 107 gram C/megajoule is an assigned value. It is based on the wells to wheels mass balance.

    "SCIENTIFIC BASIS

Adam Brandt, acting assistant professor in the department of Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford University, California, is among those who have found tar sands to be highly polluting.

There are uncertainties, he said, but available evidence suggested that on a "wells-to-wheels" basis, oil sands have about 15-20 percent higher greenhouse gas emissions than conventional oil, because of the extra energy used in extraction.

Brandt helped the EU come up with its 107 grams per megajoule ranking. He told Reuters the range of emissions from oil sands projects in general ranged from the low 100s to more than 120 megajoules, depending on the project. On that basis, 107 was "a reasonable and realistic default value for the industry average," he said.

The oil industry has cited other research, which finds oil sands are comparable with other heavy crudes in terms of their life-cycle carbon emissions, especially those whose production is accompanied by the flaring of associated gas.

(Reporting by Barbara Lewis in Brussels, Jeff Jones in Calgary)"

Additionally, Venezuala is also a "unconventional" source of crude, but you don't seem to be adverse to Obama making the decision...

Additionally, Venezuala is also a "unconventional" source of crude, but you don't seem to be adverse to Obama making the decision to continue with that source. In reality, the 107 m value would have been reduced by the Keystone Pipline.

It appears that you are much more subjective in your analysis than you could ever support.
