It does, however the problem is that people have the naive belief that there are people who aren't self-interested and that if you are it's a bad thing in and of itself. Childish.
It is a refusal to acknowledge and repay society for the things that allowed you to become rich such as public roads, public schools, the police, fire dept and military, as well as past research and discoveries often govt funded that helped create your product, Or the resources you are using to make/ship/sell that product
It is a refusal to recognize you only made what you did based on the opportunities presented by being a part of a society, and you have an obligation to repay that debt so others can have the same chance
Then thy would be set up for the benifit of the business and we would be trading democracy for unelected corporate goverment decided by who has the most
I would just think the opposite..This country really has to cut taxes this time around, there really is no other way..and cutting spending has to be on the table also,We are borrowing forty cents of every dollar that we are spending today.. We all know that mathmatically that this is not going to work out..
Yes !! Reducing everything..Then businesses will start hiring again, because they won't be taxed to death.,which means more hiring, more jobs..and when others see that the heavy regulations has been removed, even more businesses will open..This country has to stop all this out of control spending..It's a fact, we are in deep trouble.and have to do what is necessary, if we are to ever survive this big debt we now own...and yes, lowering taxes does work..it has been tried and proven under President Reagan, and it does work when the economy is drowning as it is now..Are you interested in saving this country ?
"Then businesses will start hiring again" Though this may have been once true, it is not the case any longer they now just higher sweat shop or prison labor for pennies on the dollar. This is why companies are posting record profits while unemployment rises
"Are you interested in saving this country ?" Depends if your idea of "saving" includes allowing an unelected corporate government to dictate all aspects of life, while we run a race to the bottom with sweat shops. At what point is job creation not worth it? These sweat shop workers work 16 hour days and still do not make enough even for a minimum standard of living. Do you want to compete? Do you think a CEO whose goal is profit and the bottom line would rather hire you at a living wage than them?
We have a President thats in office now, thats trying to dictate every aspect of our lives, Obama has proved that his way is not going to work..that his ideas are failing horribly..He has proven that so well.. You can't keep spending and keep taxing and keep regulating businesses and expect to ever pull this economy out,its been proven many times and it just will not work. I live in a state that throughout all this economy crisis, our state has managed to remain in good shape and the reason why,our taxes have been kept at a minimum, especially on businesses that employ large numbers of people. We are aware that we cannot spend our way out of a troubled economy,so we go the opposite direction and its working great. That would also work for this entire country too,if we just had a President that wasn't so stuck on himself, that he would take advice from the American people. The state that I live in was on the world news last week..and a reporter interviewed our governor, and was asking him how this state was managing so well, and he told him basically what I have told you..

Where it was a voluntary course of action instead of a coercive one.
But somehow reducing revenue is an answer?
