I contend morality cannot be successfully legislated. People will gamble, people will seek out hookers, people will find their pleasures.






















The law does not deal in, and does not care about the morality of any case, horrible but true.
Of course, we'll have to leave it to a board of unelected government employes to decide just how moral we each have to be, and to set the standards for moral participation we'll all have to participate in.
Anyone determined to not be moral will have to pay a fine/tax.
yours or mine, his or hers, theirs or ours?
Which is why we have ethics :)
We can and should only legislate stuff that is beneficial to the health and liberty of people as a whole, and balance the two accordingly.
