Can Mitt Romney stop Obama from again getting a free pass from 12 million black voters if he chooses Allen West as his VP?

I think most black voters from the Bible-Belt states would identify with Allen West than with Barack Obama's "Muslim-oriented elitism."

This should NEVER be about race! IMO West is WAY more qualified than Romney. I don't like Romney at all, and it looks like he will get the Republican nomination, so once again I vote for the lesser of two evils.

I think Romney will solidify his campaign with West. West will bring a lot of things to the table. Retired military, familiar with muslims, constitutional minded, and congressional interaction to name a few. Plus, I think it will put West in a good place to run for President which is what I would love to see.

Probably not. Blacks historically vote as a block and overwhelmingly democrat. I don't think Alan would put much of a dent in that.

Now that would be a dilemma for Blacks. Choosing between a real Man with real solutions and Ideas from 'the other party' or voting for an empty suit (from the party they are told they must stick with) who incessantly talks about problems (sometimes problems that don't exist) and has no solutions. West is an educated fool and a non factor. I don't expect everyday people to know everything, but Palin was a candidate for VP, she should have known the answers to the softball questions which were asked of her. It doesn't matter anyway because she is also a non factor.

I served my country and it is our right as civilians to salute the flag or not, Just because a person doesn't do what you would do doesn't mean they have no respect for America. I love the USA, but the flag is a piece of cloth. Actions are what count.

Whereas, Obama won't release any of his school or other records, so we really don't know how well he did in school, or WHERE he actually attended school or the circumstances thereof. But the fact that Allen West doesn't need a teleprompter to speak should give you some inkling as to who, between him and Obama, is actually closer to being an idiot, and it isn't West.

It would great just to have two in the White House who talks about the greatness of this country, Who doesn`t look for reasons to apologize, Talks to the people in a civilized way without the need of dividing. West would bring the feelings towards the leadership of this country in the way like Ronald Reagan did. I do not se this ticket happening- Mitt Romney's money is coming from Karl Rove, and Karl Rove is behind Allen's district being redrawn out from under him.

Add in Allen is too conservative and speaks his mind, slimmer chance even.

Should it happen, at most 1-2M votes would be switched.

Better chance would be either Martinez or Sandoval

governors if NM and NV- unfortunately, karl Rove and the GOP elite do not spend their time on Soda head, and wouldn't listen if they did, Allen is not what they are looking for- he has a backbone, and that is not accepted at the RNC headquarters
