I think you mean narcissistic rather than schizophrenic? Or perhaps you were thinking of dissociative identity disorder a.k.a. multiple personality disorder, on account of politicians being two-faced liars. Many people confuse these two disorders, probably because of Hitchcock's badly researched movie "Psycho".
Schizophrenia leads to disorganized thinking, paranoia and delusions. If it goes untreated, it usually renders people unable to hold down any kind of job, especially one that is as socially demanding as politics. Many homeless people who mutter to themselves in the streets are schizophrenic. Politicians are much more likely to be narcissists, imho.
