"Secret Service Secrets: Obama Threats Up 400 Percent
A new book by Newsmax Chief Washington Correspondent Ronald Kessler features startling revelations about current and former U.S. presidents, including Barack Obama.

'In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect,' released Tuesday, discloses that threats against the president have increased dramatically — by a staggering 400 percent since Obama entered the White House.

Kessler is the first journalist to penetrate the wall of secrecy that surrounds the U.S. Secret Service, and his book is based on interviews with more than 100 current and former agents.

Once Obama entered the White House, the Secret Service experienced a 400 percent increase in the number of threats against the president, in comparison with his predecessor George Bush. While most of the threats were not credible, each had to be checked out and adjudicated."

I agree, the Bible does tell us to pray for our leaders, too. We should pray that the Lord will bless and keep him. Bless him with common sense, integrity, and a love for the American people, and to keep him, keep him as far away from America as he can go. hehe, but seriously, I agree that we SHOULD pray for him, I mean Paul was stoning Christians and then became one, imagine what God could do in Obama's heart if all of us were to pray.

But then, we all know what's coming soon....whether or not this is it, I don't know...but, I do believe we need to pray for our leaders...if we like it or not! :o( I can't say I do all the time, but I do. It's soooo frustrating to see what is happening today. I just look back at my childhood and can remember the goodness....and I've seen how drastically it has changed over the years....I wish my kids and my grandkids didn't have to see half the crap they do now...morally that is...it's gone straight to the crapper!

I suggest you look a little more because your off by a little. Some would say Woodrow Wilson was the start of socialism because he is the reason for the Fed. Reserve, but he didn't do much more than that. However FDR really got the ball rolling with enough Social programs the make Norman Thomas very happy. If you don't know Thomas look him up.

Personally the last thing I would ever want is for that to take place it is just wrong!!! But do I honestly believe a 400% increase after bush who was so hated? Nope I think this is like so much else out there spin by the left to stir up people. I have seen right here on Sodahead people say things like somebody needs to stop Bush once and for all. That could be called a death threat but was it ever called that? Nope it was blowing off steam. If they counted those sort of utterances though I am sure the numbers when Bush were in office would have been staggering. But I have seen a 10,000% increase in people calling other people racist and more true racist behavior since this started and amazingly it is mostly coming from the left. Personally if there had been genuine death threats They would not have him be out on Martha's Vineyard on a vacation on the beach though. Think folks this is just like so much else in the media these days it is spin and guess what folks that cycle is over almost. When the race card loses its effect what will they try next? There is genuine anger with this president for his massive spending and trying to ram his policies through no matter if we can afford them or not. But a 400% increase after Bush? There are some people who can be reasoned with because they want to come to the truth, and may just see it differently than we do. With Obama in office, that's us.
