Can any one tell all of us why so many LIBERALS seem to hate any non liberals that are CHRISTIANS??

While I am NOT a "good" Christian, I KNOW IN MY MIND and IN MY HEART, that Jesus IS the SON of GOD AND my ONLY PATH TO SALVATION!!!

There are many libs that seem to feel that "man" is somehow "responsible" for ALL things, and deep inside themselves, they HOPE that GOD does NOT exist so that they'll never have to answer for their sins, and I believe that this particular group of libs are those that are most hateful of Christians and Christianity!!! They seem more like "spoiled children", mad and hateful to ANYONE and ANYTHING that limits their DESIRES!!!

Liberals adore government. They also suffer from situational ethics and only like to follow rules as they see fit.

Liberals are by definition God haters. They will say that is not true but at the same time will continue to embrace views, attitudes and behavior that God hates.

Hate is something that exists in and out of the Christian view.
Most religions are about salvation and emotional security, and can be a tether for someone to keep grounded, and any hate that springs from the personal view is.. well, retarded.

In that case, it would be fair to say that liberalism has nothing to do with being crazy. crazy people use liberalism as a hostage for THEIR negative purposes

I don't understand the concept of a god that hates. I really don't. I'll be honest and say that sounds 'retarded' but it really does seem like a ridiculous notion. A supreme being who feels basic mammalian emotions? Hate usually stems from some sort of fear. Does an all powerful being feel fear? Fear for our salvation, maybe?

I'm not sure. Maybe hate is too strong of a term. Righteous anger may be closer to the mark. Since he knows everything from the eternal past to the eternal future, he can look upon a single sinful act and instantly know all the harm it will cause. It's not hard to imagine how that could anger him.

Does an all powerful being feel fear? I'm sure Jesus was fearful of going to the cross taking upon himself the guilt of all mankind's sin, and then paying the price for all that sin. I don't think he fears for our salvation but I think it hurts him pretty bad when he loves us so much to do what he did for us only to be rejected.

I'm one of the most incredibly mis understood people when it come to religions , I am a "born again christian ( or what ever you wanna call it ) i went through a period that I questioned everything about religion "god " and purpose ..turned to drugs /alcohol , and was farther from god that anyone I know ...( this after I witnessed a person return from death, heard their experiences ) then followed mormonism (before this experience ),, researched the koran / and all factes of traditional religions """"

some I still dont get ..the one that comes closest to my experiences " being told about the after life & experienced therefore " is the bible ...

then after my NDE ,,I believe in the afterlife ,,and see some folks that claim to be cristian well there not ..same as soetoro aka (obama ) claims to have denounced islam ',, this following doesnt allow this .. my understanding ! hes a hypocrit ...!

I have been allowed an other chance to be a good person / man / husband / father ..

and for that chance & try to live a better life , and appreciate & love god ...

since then I have been given some health challenges as well and cancer ..sooo !

I've always wondered what it would have been like to have had a major change as you did. I actually always believed in God and Jesus from the time I was a very young girl. For a while (college and during my radio days) I got away from it but after having my daughter went back to church regularly (she's 14 now). It's been a wonderful experience growing in grace and faith.

well I'm 55 now a son 14 , but I pray every day & thank GOD for all good things ,and the challeges as well ..I just dont go to a bldg to worship ...!
god is everywhere,, not merely in one building !

then in 1997 I was struck by lightning , declared dead for 45 min & revived ( defibd ) since then I was graced with a son , my live changed prophetically since then ...

I'm 52 and have a daughter that's 14 (I remember when she used to love to be with me, lol). That is an amazing story about being struck by lightening and amazing to be declared dead for that long. Wow. Years ago a friend of mine gave me a book about someone who was struck by lightening and how it subsequently changed her (or their) faith. It's been a while since I read it and I love to read, so I read a lot. But it was pretty interesting, I think they were camping. I don't think you have to go to church, but if you have people to fellowship with that's really important and a lot of fun. Your avatar makes perfect sense, now! God must have had really big plans for you to get your attention in that way!

and I am a liberal. However, I don't believe in abortion, but I think that's the only real issue that makes most Christians republicans. I believe in helping others, (even though I then have less money), I don't look down on people because of what they don't have, I don't believe that people or companies should be irresponsible in regard to the environment or the effect on animals. And it's the conservatives (and I really don't believe many of them are real Christians) who say really nasty things about the poor. Tell me how that is Christian? I'm not a hypocrite. I have many Christian friends that lean left for those same reasons. I also know "Christians" in church on Sunday, and then screw as many people as they can in business the rest of the week. You have good people and bad people on both sides.
