    No, it's inappropriate.
    I know that these relationships occur quite often and many times at least one of the participants is married. Many companies have policies against them so in addition termination, there is always the danger of extortion and lawsuits.

    Yes as long as there is no coercion or pressure from either side. It might make it difficult to work closely and then a decision has to be made as to whether there needs to be a job change or stop the relationship.
