The United States Department of Justice . . . Federal Correction System. If it means locking up those who can't see, then we go after the blind . . . EVERYONE who breaks the Law! I have to agree.

Neither is enforcing the Law on the Illegal Aliens driving without a Drivers License and in the clearly-marked "Muni ONLY Lane" in the City of San Francisco. BTW, I think that it's the Illegal Aliens who first introduced the Vending Machines With Medical Marijuana, to the City of San Francisco. El Presidente should be receiving his monetary gifts, accordingly. The question is "in Pesos or U. S. Dollars?" . . . Or maybe even the Euro . . . In which the White House likes so much . . .

Alcohol is just as addictive with even more dangerous side effects (like increased aggression)
why not legalize it, regulate it, and tax the crap out of it
Tax the farms, tax the packagers, tax the retaliers,
better than all the untaxed transactions going on now
and
can't be any worse for you than cigarettes

Instead of using the DEA, ICE, and all those other agencies to keep marijuana out of the US, grow it domesticly and regulate it
and focus on the serious problem drugs like meth and crack

Not to mention, there is always the risk of buying Marijuana off of the street that is laced with PCP, Crack, Spice or some other very dangerous substance.

It's Illegal. you know to many of our youth are sitting on their fat asses smoking dope, getting high, drinking and playing their video games and living off their parents and the state. Funny, no when I was a kid if you wanted money you went out and earned it the old fashion way, You went out and found someone to pay you for something you did for them, washing there car, cutting their grass not smoking it, plowing a field. The youth today think they should have it all and not have to work, to them playing games that their minds are so stoned they think that's life.

Quick answer. During the McCarthy era, the Government was afraid that if they allowed people to smoke weed, they would be too passive to resist invasion by those damn Ruskies.

It's not pot that has created the dependent society we have now, it's a Government that has traded benefits for people that are paid out of the Treasury, in exchange for the votes for them to get elected or re-elected. People have become too damn lazy to work because they CAN. Throughout history, if you didn't work, you didn't eat. Now, all you have to do is sign up and the Government will support you from cradle to grave with money they stole from the working people of this once great nation.

Weed is good for peoples health.. So why not? Also, it isn't hurting anyone. Weed is not as toxic as cigarettes. It comes straight from the ground, gets dried, chopped up and smoked. Nothing else. :)

Or you could grind poppy seeds for opium too! :) or eat mushrooms. Or A long list of many natural things that can be unhealthy too. Rattle snake poison, dart frogs, etc. naturalness has nothing to do with it being safe! I hate this argument. Though I'm not against weed.

Not a customer, but don't see it as a problem for adults. As for fears of kids getting it this machine requires a special swipe card, a thumbprint, and a pin code to function.

not for me ,but for those who really do need it it could maybe work, its at least worth a try

if it was really necessary...why not in pill form? My niece used it in pill form as prescribed by her Dr's during her chemo treatments for bone cancer and it was effective....I would not think it needs to be smoked if truly medical.

How it's taken in changes how it affects the body. Some people take medical marijuana for panic attacks, and that means taking it in pill form will do very little to help that. It's sort of like how people take it recreationally in different ways-- only beginners waste marijuana by chewing it straight-up and eating it, because that does almost nothing. =/

if one is going to smoke it for a panic attack...I can assume that their panic attacks are not that well managed. One should not be "chasing medicine" if possible....

No, I'm just explaining how different means of taking it affect how it works, and for different purposes. Marijuana has a calming effect on the body, which is why some people use it that way.

i don't use recreational drugs anyway but i would never deny anyone the ability to use them as adults one problem I see is that a vending machine has no way to prevent minors from getting the stuff.

You have to have the correct pin, card and thumbprint......this is more security than I have at the BANK! I feel like this isn't going to be a issue, with minors getting pot, I mean it's not like they just can't get it at school or anything like that.....
