Japanese vending machines sell everything from beer to veggies, so why shouldn't California set up vending machines for its biggest cash crop? Well, it's
illegal for starters, but that's not stopping The Dispensary Group from launching the state's first automated
marijuana dispenser so patients can get their relief when the shops are closed. Of course, you need a medical marijuana card to use it, and there are a few more "by the ways" for potential customers.
According to Dvice, the machine (called the AutoSpense) requires a special swipe card, a thumbprint, and a pin code to function. Oh, and it's under constant surveillance. We assume an electrified metal cage comes down around you and alerts a SWAT team if you get the pin code wrong, but then again, we're just guessing. So, tell us: Does California's first weed vending machine sound like a good idea?
Older generations are going to have a hard time accepting it because of the stereotypes they've grown up with.
All because of one Rich, Racist, White man and him wanting to make sure Weed didn't interfere with his paper business.
Marijuana itself isn't nearly as bad as Liquor and Nicotine. But until the gov't finally admits that they wrong about the cons outweighing the benefits then we're going to have to deal with this
And time shall certainly tell
...friend... have you ever read about the 60's? Well us "young folks" back then somehow got older. Uh, the 60's happened over 40 yrs. ago. Tack that onto the age pot smoking "kids" would've been in the 60's and you'll find that yeah even though we're chronologically "older" we're still young at heart. Our bodies just seemed to have got a bit older over that period of time (funny how that happens)... but our minds (for the most part... excepting a few of course) well, they're intact and many of us are enjoying the good life still... when we can.
I did not, I was speaking of the generation after yours, seeing as how you are part of the latter baby boomer population. You grew up during woodstock, vietnam, the generation of love and war where marijuana was widespread and people actually knew about it.
Generation X on the other hand, that of my parents, were taught a different set of rules on the whole plant and they've influenced us today.
But we're still fighting for it
Think & grow smart.
You have had a good and respectable life it seems,
But just because somebody says its wrong don't necessarily make them right.
...from what I've read (wink, wink).
"Corrupt Government Capitalist's ~ Taking liberty away, and selling it back to you since 1876"
Please excuse my bluntness, but sometimes there are no pretty words that befit dirty deeds, and a duck should be called a duck. I do not care what the government, the criminals, the Churches, the illegal aliens or my next-door neighbors are doing, and provided they are not stealing my tax dollars; they can continue to carry on with their buggering…
