Japanese vending machines sell everything from beer to veggies, so why shouldn't California set up vending machines for its biggest cash crop? Well, it's
illegal for starters, but that's not stopping The Dispensary Group from launching the state's first automated
marijuana dispenser so patients can get their relief when the shops are closed. Of course, you need a medical marijuana card to use it, and there are a few more "by the ways" for potential customers.
According to Dvice, the machine (called the AutoSpense) requires a special swipe card, a thumbprint, and a pin code to function. Oh, and it's under constant surveillance. We assume an electrified metal cage comes down around you and alerts a SWAT team if you get the pin code wrong, but then again, we're just guessing. So, tell us: Does California's first weed vending machine sound like a good idea?
Want to know what's bad and LEGAL?? Spice:
Here's what I know from personal experience, as well as several dozen testimonials by friends and acquaintances (you can do your own research if you wish):
Spice does not mimic the effects of marijuana, it creates its own high that seems almost paralytic at times. People have been known to mimic convulsions similar to seizures, people have had adverse effects originating in the brain, and there are even more who've died simply from smoking too much.
This is what should be illegal. This, products including nicotine, and alcohol, cause more and harm, and should (therefore) be illegal as well. . . .though alcohol is a long way from legalization >_>;;
Seems like there is not much difference than what is going on now, and that they've thought things through.
I'm not sure I understand people thinking it's bad. (Other than if you don't agree with legalization for medical purpose in the first place and Fed. issues.)
I say bad because it's a failure, not because of the weed.

Or do you think legalizing pot in general is a bad idea?
In our republic, as it was laid out for us in our constitution, each state is to have its own say over whether or not they punish drug use, purchase or sale. I believe the federal laws need to simply disappear.
I said, at the time, "I bet someday we'll have to pay $50 an oz".
The pics and prices don't match up either way....
