It doesn't work. Period. I find that to be highly abusive. Psychologists should be checking into this type of abuse.

This is just another big old cup of crazy by some RWNJs.

It's easy to win when the competition licks it's own ass and balls. Sorry dogmeat, you're no match.

I just don't have faith in any "therapy" and this one is just stupid.

    I dunno, i don't like using the B word...

But this does seem to be pretty evil.

Why don't we just take it a step further, and ban brainwashing on your kids. Then we can get rid of the anti-gay bigotry, as well as the whole religion virus in one fail swoop.

If we're going to do something about it, may as well swing for the fences.

As usual with questions of this type, I voted wrong. I thought the question would be, "Should gay conversion therapy be encouraged and practiced?" To THAT I meant to answer "Yes."

Sadly, SodaHead does not permit me to change my vote.

Homosexuals are sick. These therapies can help. But California wants to become a State of switchhitters.

Some enterprising capitalist came up with a new way to separate morons from their money; because you know they're not doing these "conversions" for free.
Who are we to interfere with his/her livelihood?
Instead, let's celebrate the fleecing of the utter idiots that would make use of such a service.

I worry about their kids tho.

Can't be good for the psyche... Now not only are they gay abominations that are hated by god and bring shame upon their family... they gotta be failures too.

I get the psychological turmoil the kids are put through.
    I was just being a smart-ass.
But I am sick of government regulating/banning everything they can think of.

Don't you think they should ban something that can harm "minors"? Adults can make their own decisions but kids?
If Psycologists are opposed to these "voodoo" tactics, then at least protect the kids.

The Government had to step in and take over with some Christian Science parents who wouldn't treat their children with medical care.

So charge them with child endangerment or abuse, something already on the books.
We don't need another law specific to this.

Unless the parents get to attend 'straight conversion therapy' to make them turn gay. They'll figure out pretty soon that it doesn't work that way.

So it's just a coincidence that the Roman empire was fine continually expanding for the better part of a thousand years, until the Christians took over, split the empire, moved the capital, started and lost a fight with the arabs, and ushered us into the dark ages?

Nah, the two can't possibly be connected.

    I wouldn't bother.

The spin job Christians have put on world history won't be fixed with a single wiki page.

I wasn't really talking about them in particular, i'm not a fan of Islam either, but they didn't take over the world and skew my history books, while burning everyone else's.

what is Gay Therapy? - because there have been many attempts to get the gay discussion into preschool and middle school and to suggest that children experiment with their sexuality, anything that would generally encourage anything that even sounds like this I would not want anywhere near me or my children or my friends children, and therefore everyone's children (Golden Rule)
