By chance if Romney wins, will we American Conservatives put his feet to the fire??

☆The Rock☆ * AFCL* The Sheriff!! 2012/08/15 21:25:05
Yes, you sure bet I will!
No, I will let him run up more debt, and undermine more freedom?

Well to be honest; I am not so sure Mitt will win but if he does, I know this Conservative will put his feet and ass to the fire! I think we as Americans need to demand a balanced budget, a repeal of the NDAA and Patriot Act and an Audit of the Federal Reserve! I am not holding my breath but believe me these will be the things I will hound his adminstration through the means of e-mail, faxes and phone! Do you agree?

Just how exactly would we "keep their feet to the fire"? Call them? Email them? Bug our local lawmakers? That's all well and good - but eventually the only tool we really have is to vote them out. The problem with that is you obviously have to vote for someone else in their place. That other person is usually not much better or exactly the same. On and on it goes...

Most won't, because of the "R". This will be my response to those that voted for Romney and are totally unimpressed with him within 6 months after his 'swearing-in':

The guy openly admits he's a progressive, and republicans will vote for him in droves... why?
They believe in socialism as much as the democrats.

Rock, I am sure Romney / Ryan will win IF Independents and Republicans vote.

Not voting gives a vote to Obama and Obamunism.

We need too, we also need to demand a change to the way we hold elections that will make it fair for third party candidates.

To be honest I think Obummer is going to be lucky to take Illinois. Also I know that Republicans will take control of the Senate with a chance of taking our own 60%. Romney had better look at what we've done and do something about it or we'll send his butt back to Mass too. 2010 was done time. Dumb azz politicians had better start listening.

And with his VP pick, Romney forces the conversation in the right direction

Romney will be open to things that would never come near Obama, like impeachment, for example. However, one must remember that the President, IF he does as he should, is controlled by the Congress. At the moment, the Congress is controlled by the President. Hmmmmm... What does that tell you?

Regardless of party, politics, or anything else that divides us, the American people should unite and to the following for any president:

Hold his feet to the fire. He serves us.
Pray for or at least support the president. His job is harder than yours and if he fails, we all fail.
