By accepting $1,000,000 from Bill Maher is Obama showing both his hyprocrisy and his lack of respect for women?

In case someone hasn't told you yet: the difference is Maher was only insulting Palin. Limbaugh was taking part in a class war against women's rights as human beings.
That's the difference, and only the willfully ignorant deny it, and try to use the bogus comparison as some sort of an excuse for Limbaugh's behavior. Pathetic.

What's pathetic is your willful blindness and hypocrisy. Maher's using that term, and others like it, degrades all women and feeds a mentailty that leads to enormous societal damage. Battered women is just one example.
I don't excuse Limbaugh's behavior at all. His statements were completely unacceptable, contemptible, and he's getting what he deserves.
What is sickening is to hear brain-dead liberals like you try to parse your way around this to support your contorted views. The hypocrisy this has exposed in liberaldom as you try to excuse this type of speech from your icons while condemning Limbaugh would be laughable if it weren't so malignant.

Limbaugh's rant was a direct attack on a Constitutuional right held by half the population. Maher's rant was an attack against one person.

It wasn't a constitutional attack on the rights of Fluke - her rights aren't the issue - Rush was using insults against Fluke as a PROPAGANDA TOOL to attack women's reproductive rights AS A WHOLE with demeaning, mysoginist language aimed at what he and his kind view as second-class citizens . . . . Nor did Limbaugh attack her constitutional reproductive rights either. What he did take issue with was her expectation that others should be forced to pay for her use of contraceptives, especially those who object based upon religious grounds.

I don't even think one needs a triple digit IQ or even a grade school education to determine the motivation for Barrack Obama's hypocrisy. Rush Limbaugh is an entity which is out of the control of this President and if he could silence Rush like Chavez has silenced political dissent in Venezuela, he would do it in a heartbeat!
