I think you've gotten the correct answers here. 1000 points of light are groups or organizations that help people in some way or another.

    Exact quote:

"I have spoken of a thousand points of light, of all the community organizations that are spread like stars throughout the Nation, doing good. We will work hand in hand, encouraging, sometimes leading, sometimes being led, rewarding. We will work on this in the White House, in the Cabinet agencies. I will go to the people and the programs that are the brighter points of light, and I will ask every member of my government to become involved. The old ideas are new again because they are not old, they are timeless: duty, sacrifice, commitment, and a patriotism that finds its expression in taking part and pitching in."

It is obvious what it meant if you read the exact quote.

It means for America to volunteer there time to promote there community and local government. You can help your Police Dept, Church, Fire department, Parks. Cleanup the roadside of trash, same for rivers waterways. To help the unfortunate. Red Cross and the list goes on & on. Make you community a better place to live. If everyone gets the message and jumps in and gives of some of there time and volunteer it would reflect into a thousand points of light.
The real great thing is the concept works. I volunteer in my police department and help build parks for children's recreation. Go for it!!

Bush Sr. is a globalist, New World Order man, openly speaking of it several times, it's establishment, it's control over the world rather than the "law of the jungle", what about natural law, but anyway. It all sounds well and good when you hear people talk of community organizing, helping others, feeding the poor, etc, but that's the work of conscience, through charity, not through government who -always- adds strings, and never does anything through love and charity alone. I have seen it said before, that the Almighty is omnipotent and omnipresent, but Satan isn't, but by "appearing as an angel of light.." he works to establish a world-wide network of his servants, both knowing and ignorant, to at least have a limited form of being present throughout the world. Thanks.

Yeah, Peter Jackson made a card game called Illuminati or something another, and there are a few additions to the original I believe. There are a lot of interesting cards, for example-

Yeah, it was started back in the 80's. I believe it was another attempt by the "powers that be" to put theories of a conspiracy among the world elites, power brokers, zealots, and ultimately Satan himself in a category of the funny, not to be taken seriously, etc. Some live with the belief in good and evil, to both extremes, while others believe in all shades of good and only a shallow level of evil(murderers, thieves, liars, etc), never wanting to approach the realization that if there are groups, nations, and people who apply their lives to what most consider "good", there is likely an equally pervasive opposite focused on evil deeds(which they probably consider "good", for themselves anyway). You would think(edit) that the excuse of "coincidence, dumb mistakes, inefficiency, etc" would wear thin considering all of the world-changing events that have been labeled that.

President George HW Bush meant the healing and charity of many organizations.
Light often means a source of healing and spirit. Bush got it from the Christian author C.S. Lewis:
In The Magician's Nephew published in 1955, C. S. Lewis wrote "One moment there had been nothing but darkness; next moment a thousand, thousand points of light leaped out..."

I have spoken of a thousand points of light, of all the community organizations that are spread like stars throughout the Nation, doing good. We will work hand in hand, encouraging, sometimes leading, sometimes being led, rewarding. We will work on this in the White House, in the Cabinet agencies. I will go to the people and the programs that are the brighter points of light, and I will ask every member of my government to become involved. The old ideas are new again because they are not old, they are timeless: duty, sacrifice, commitment, and a patriotism that finds its expression in taking part and pitching in. -- George HW Bush
