In Burger King's latest ads, they sure are pushing the new BK Super Seven Incher into a whole new level. Way to go BK, now I will not buy you Seven-inch sandwich since you are comparing it to a penis.

bk super incher level bk buy seven-inch sandwich comparing penis

Here's what the ad says:

"IT'LL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY. Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled with the NEW BK SUPER SEVEN INCHER. Yearn for more after you taste the mind-blowing burger that comes with a single beef patty, topped with American cheese, crispy onions and the A1 Thick and Hearty Steak Sauce."

Not offensive so much as just nasty. It definitely makes me want to avoid that burger at all costs.

To think that this ad is sexual is like thinking that an ad for a giant burger is automatically inspired by someone who has my fetish.

it's just a sandwich. subway's foot longs can be compared to a penis. there's nothing wrong with a little innuendo to sell something. it's done all the time.

Juvenile and offensive. Sex does sell and the shock value is attention getting. The problem with this is that it keeps pushing the boundary of what is morally acceptable to society. For those without children, it's not a big deal. When your kids start saying things like this because they see it on TV, you'll figure it out.
  • Max Nobamaforu 2009/06/25 16:17:36

They won't figure it out. They will either think it's cute or funny and pat themselves on the backs for being cool or be shocked and blame school, peers, tv, ex'es etc...never once looking inward.

burger king is really pushing the limit lately, first the spongebob thing & now this. i know that most kids get exposed to sex all the time on tv & in movies. but, for Goddess sake, do they have to be with burger commercials?????
