Bummer. Democrat’s Walker Love Child Story Falls Apart… In About an Hour

Allbiz - PWCM - JLA 2012/06/04 14:18:25

The far left Wisconsin Citizens Media Co-op reported:

Bernadette Gillick was a college freshman in 1988 when she first met Scott Walker. It was spring semester, and she had just transferred to Marquette University. She was assigned a room in O’Donnell Hall (then a women’s dormitory), which she shared with her new roommate, Ruth (not her real name). Ruth was dating Scott Walker, who was 20 at the time, and, according to Bernadette, Ruth was deeply in love with him.

Midway through that spring semester, Bernadette alleges, Ruth found out she was pregnant. She informed her boyfriend, Scott, and initially he was supportive. That support changed to callous indifference for his girlfriend’s predicament after Scott informed his parents of the pregnancy.

Bernadette reports that at this point Scott began denying that he was the father of the baby, and when Ruth said she was considering an abortion, he claimed he didn’t care, as he wasn’t the father anyway.

Bernadette remembers being present when Ruth was dealing with the wrath of Scott’s mother, who allegedly admonished Ruth for trying to “ruin [her son's] reputation.”

“I supported her [Ruth] as he [Scott] went from encouraging her to get an abortion, to telling me it was in my best interest to keep my mouth shut, to denying that he was the father and having his own mother call her and tell her to stop erroneously accusing her son of paternity,” Bernadette recounts.

It was a “horrible time” for her friend. “Imagine her being 18 years old and pregnant, walking around Marquette’s Jesuit Catholic campus with her boyfriend denying he was the father,” says Bernadette.

How sad and desperate. Wisconsin Democrats should be embarrassed.
It took one call and about an hour to refute the bogus report.
The Daily Kos, not exactly a bastion of conservatism, reported on the developments.

The story that Scott Walker abandoned his pregnant girlfriend in college (dKos diary link) failed the first test of verification by a professional reporter. Daniel Bice, the “Watchdog” reporter of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Online interviewed the anonymous woman who had the baby, but she adamantly denied that Scott Walker was the father according to a comment by Daniel Bice to the linked story.

I am getting a lot of emails because of this post. Two things: (1) I tracked down and talked to Dr. Gillick’s freshman-year roommate at MU yesterday, and she adamantly denies that Walker is the father of her child. Yes, she got pregnant as a first-year student, but she believes Dr. Gillick is mixing up stories; and (2) I Can Read CCAP has taken a family court suit involving Scott Alan Walker and mixed it up with the governor, Scott Kevin Walker.

Another fail for the Wisconsin Democrats. What a bunch of losers.

You!

yes, what a mix up. The woman stated earlier that the father was Scott Walker, who was running for student body. This was also verified through DNA.
Later after the death threats rolled in, she claimed it was a different Scott Walker.
What a ironic thing 2 Scott Walkers that were both running for student body and also had the same DNA!

Smells like desperation in the air in WI.
I feel bad for the taxpayers of Wisconsin, what a waste of money and an embarrassment as well.
From the outside it looks like "thugland" and "liarville" with the property destruction, threats and university sponsored doctors notes.

So there really was two Scott Walkers that were both running for student body at the same time, same school, same class?
or could you just have believed a pathetic excuse sent out by Walkers campaign?
    which odds could be right?

It's not suppression if you register. I don't know about Florida, but in Texas you can get voter registration forms everywhere. The library, the post office, local city, county, state and Federal offices, all have these forms cluttering up the place. So the only people that don't register is those that refuse. On site registration is a pathway to voter fraud. And as for the whining about college ID"s remember, many students don't attend classes in the state where they are registered. Last time during the primaries there were many cases of college students voting at home by mail and then again in person in state. This happened mainly in Illinois and Ohio. What you are trying to whine about is something that rarely exists because even to get public housing, welfare, medicaid, you have to have some sort of legitimate ID. Most states offer free ID's to those who don't drive or who are elderly. The problem is folks like you just don't want to be bothered. You expect Mommy Government to come to your door and take care of all your problems. Grow up.

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy. I read four newspapers daily, including the New York Times, The Washington Post, The UK Guardian and my local paper. I read stories from CNN, from Reuters, from AP and even from that joke of a network MSNBC. It's been my experience that liberals like yourself, generally get their information from one or two sources. Mother Jones is one. Uber liberals LOVE Mother Jons because its so damned snarky. Politico is another. Daily Beast can go either way depending on the writer. But the bottom line is that if you continue to underestimate the intelligence of conservatives based on nothing more than you don't like their opinions, you are going to have a miserable life because some of those conservatives you hate will be the ones that can give you a job. And having worked for folks that are both liberal and conservative, conservatives are much more straightforward. The worst bosses I have ever had were big money paying Democrats who screwed over their workers but would think nothing of holding up an event so they could be the center of things.

For years, a young attorney had been taking vacations at a country inn. The last time he'd finally managed to have sex with the innkeeper's daughter. The next time he arrived, he was looking forward to an exciting few days. He dragged his suitcase up the stairs of the inn, and then stopped short. There sat his lover with an infant on her lap.
"Helen, why didn't you write when you learnt you were pregnant?" he cried. "I would've rushed up here, we could've gotten married, & the baby would have my name!"
"Well," she said. "When my folks found out about my condition, we sat up all night thinking & talking, & we decided it would be better to have a bastard in the family than a republican."

    'cries'

FWIW, he won by a big enough margin that any small number of robocalls didn't make any difference. voter fraud? it would have been interesting to know how many fake signatures were on those recall petitions. good thing the court wouldn't let anyone confirm all the signatures.

anyway. it doesn't matter. Walker won with a substantial margin.

see you in two years when he runs again and runs over his next opponent.

If you want to know about the recall petitions, check out a site called true the vote, they worked 24/7 to validate the signatures and tens of thousands were faked or repeated on multiple forms.

    i know.

it was rhetorical comment for T to chew over.

i want to laugh now that the losers are complaining that they were 'outspent' by Walker and his supporter's PACs, yet they tried to cheat their way to victory in the first place by forging signatures on the recall petitions.

thanks for the link. interesting reading.
