Buchanan stands with Cain: Blacks ‘bought a lot of liberal propaganda on the liberal plantation’

Yankee Traveler 2011/09/30 08:40:50

Republican presidential contender Herman Cain is surging in the latest polls, but he is also facing some backlash for saying that “African-Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded, not even considering a conservative point of view.”

According to MSNBC commentator Pat Buchanan, Cain was spot-on in his analysis.

“John McCain got the same share of the African-American vote as David
Duke got for running for Governor of Louisiana. Anyone think John
McCain is a racist or an ex-klansman? That is ridiculous,” Buchanan told
MSNBC host Martin Bashir. “I think the African-American community has
embraced the Great Society liberalism which has proved devastating for
the African-American families.”

Buchanan mentioned various social indicators that he said proves that blacks have been underserved by Democratic politicians.

“Seventy-one percent of African-American kids are born out of
wedlock. Half of them drop out of high school. The whole welfare state
mentality I think has been deeply devastating,” Buchanan asserted. “I
admire Herman Cain for standing up and going against if you will the
conventional wisdom.”

Bashir pressed Buchanan for a firm answer on whether black voters were “brainwashed,” as Cain alleged.

Yes, Buchanan replied, “I think what he’s saying is they bought a lot
of liberal propaganda on the liberal plantation and think he’s right.”

The remark stunned Bashir. “On the liberal plantation,” he ponderously repeated. “Wow. Thank you for joining us.”

From the time they are born, poor blacks are fed the plantation mentality aka: the government, in its benevolence, will take care of you. collect the welfare check and any other services you can get. if the government wants you to do anything else, they hate you and are trying to keep you down.

Actually, the opposite is true but as long as blacks believe the bs, they will not (and have not throughout all these years of handouts) pull themselves out of this. Yes, they have been brainwashed to demand the freebies and the democrats give them what they want. The problem is that they cannot see they are pulling the noose tighter around their own necks by putting dems in control and continuing to believe their controllers.....the democrats.

The fact is Herman Cain is right, in a lot of the cases. not all of course, but certainly a lot. Remember, blacks came out to vote for obama whom had never voted before.. many of them could not even read or write... they came because he promised them heaven, bussed them in in droves.. gave them free meals and drinks and God knows what else... and he did brainwash them.. so the liberals, offended or not , are going to have to own this.

What really makes me laugh is when they accuse Cain of racism.. how can you be racist against your own race...they could say lots of things but they just can't get away from that racist term.. they are so caught up in that.

If anyone is racist is the defenders of Obama.. he is the most racist president we have ever had.. hides it nicely tho'.. lets his henchmen do the dirty work for him.

The problem that these types have with Cain is that he is a successful black man and well educated and not a thug thinker with the entitlement mentality

Liberal folks explode away from truth and facts... it is normal for them... Cain and Pat just told the truth.... surely some of our black folks will start to look at their vote more carefully... down the road.... bark

Exactly right. The Democrats bought the black vote years ago with the promise of entitlements. Just enough to exist on and become nothing more. Look at how many black people have succeeded without their help and have risen above the "we will give you money for your vote" BS.

i have to agree, McCain isn't racist. but sadly during his '08 campaign i know some of his supporters were. i saw a video of a couple talking about how they think obama would enslave white people, along with some other people making other interesting comments. if McCain saw that video i know he would of been ashamed of them
