The only surprise is that it occurred during Ramadan. The use of Egyptian helicopters to conduct the airstrike was blamed on local militants. Egypt has launched retaliatory strikes again militants in the northern Sinai.

Apparently, the new president of Egypt intends to honor the peace treaty with Israel.

Certainly not suprised that those peaceful demonstrators finaly need a break from all those peaceful Democracy marches around Cairo. With their wild oats of freedom sown, it was just time to get back to work.
