How big a stretch is there from hiring doctors violating their Hippocratic Oaths to "off" kids before birth or, as Obama has even supported, immediately after being born, to hire a mafia hit-man or other murderer to kill older people who get in their way?

I don't think so as a group, but there are nut cases on all sides of these hot subjects, so no telling what one of them will do. But Mrs. Pitt expresses an opinion that is shared by a lot of Americans. I believe the argument pro and con on abortion a few years back was something like 47% one way and 51% another with 2% undecided or some such thing. So, hey, be pretty stupid to kill one woman for expressing her opinion. I've seen groups like the pro- and anti-abortionists and animal rights activists, etc., get a wee bit radical in the past and actually kill people. But, as a group, I doubt Mrs. Pitt is in any danger. But if I were her I'd look over my shoulder for the next few months until the media hype goes away and some other subject takes over the nut agendas.

I never said she doesn't have the right to an opinion. But when you make that opinion public, you are going to get cheers and boos, that's life.
If somebody made a threat against her life because she made her opinion public, then that person is a nutcase. But of course the conservative right holds up that nutcase, and tries to make all Liberals responsible for what they said. THAT is acting like a fool.

Brad Pitt's mom received a death threat from Planned Parenthood supporters. We have to blame them, for it is they [Planned Parenthood], who have lobbied Obama to obtain taxpayer funding for abortions. As we must also blame Obama for giving it to them at taxpayer expense.

There are crazies out there, no matter what your philosophy there are crazies that agree with you and then keep on going into LaLa Land. We can't all be afraid of someone threatening us. More Doctors who have performed abortions have been killed than folks who are pro-life. More secretaries and others who work at clinics have been killed than folks who are pro-life.

Ignore the crazies. They get WAY too much attention in the media, we're actually beginning to think they're normal....and it isn't so.

I'm not going to debate abortion, tncdel. We must agree to disagree on this. I have never had an abortion, nor would I ever have. But that is my life and not another. And I once had a physician, a Greek actually, explain to me why (even though he did not perform them - not his specialty) it was not a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. Have a good day.
