Quantcast

Boy riding new bicycle he got for Christmas attacked by 3 pitbulls that likely would have killed him if not for a hero neighbor shooting dog sinking teeth into boy. Hero now faces criminal charges for violating gun law less strict than what Obama wants.

The boy is 11 years old, and from the report sounds like the neighbor saved his life.

Should have let the kid get pulled apart then tell the parents...I could have saved him...but the law stopped me from doing so

Ya F*ck any city ordinances in this case of course the city wants some money that's all it boils down too anyway.
And always remember when seconds count the cops are to busy eating donuts and drinking coffee to bother with such little emergency's unless they hear gun shots then they call for back up

I can actually see both sides of the argument here. If it was beyond his propety line as the article stated when he fired, then why would the persons first option be the gun as oppossed to the last option. There are simply not enough facts associated with the article to determine justification.

Liberalism gone crazy ! How about the little girl who gets kicked out of school for having a piece of paper that looked like a gun ? The scary part of this whole thing is the people leading this country ( Liberal ) actually have this mind set !

American Pitt Bulls are banned in Australia, should have shot the owner for not having the dogs locked up.

Too bad the cop didn't get attacked by some other loose pitbulls while he was harassing the hero and gun owner!

*I was just informed by the below-commenter that the cop joined in to help and shot the other two dogs* If that is so, who hauled in the neighbor for doing the right thing? I'm confused here.

The bigger and more tyrannical a government gets the more that government fears it's citizens. That is the genesis of gun control and eventual confiscation.

The Obama Admin should invite Mariah Carey to sing this song in his honor.

This is absurd that he is facing any charges, it was clearly in defense of his child.

The guy is a hero! If it wasn't for him, the kid'd be dead!

He should be getting some kind of good citizenship medal, NOT be prosecuted ! IF he is then I HOPE the jury finds him not guilty !! I also hold that the prosecutor that is pushing for this loses his or her job !!!

go read the whole article and look at the picture of that child. Now, tell me that the guy who shot the pit bull was wrong to protect. Would this have this been the sentiment in Newtown? About 45 years ago a woman was being attacked in an attempted rape in NY. The woman had a pen knife o her and protected herself. She was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, way back when. That was when I became a conservative.

This story was in DC...what do you expect. No good deed goes un-punished.
They libs are going to run with this and prosecute the guy to the fullest...After all, they are all about gun control. Never mind that a child is alive today because of his actions....lets punish him because we want his guns.

Another example as to how a gun in the right hands can save a life.. charge this guy with a crime? He should be getting an award...
