I'm not afraid of flying and I'm not afraid to cross the street by mysef either. However I have stopped flying. I refuse to be treated like a criminal and shuffed around like cattle. There is no place on this planet I need to get to so bad I would give up my self respect and dignity.

Other than due to my acrophobia, I've never been nervous about flying. That said, as long as the current TSA unwarranted, and hence illegal searches of law abiding citizens continue I won't be flying.

I wouldn't be nervous even if I was going to fly anywhere. Might be hit and killed by a taxi or bus or freight train on the way to the airport. Might be mauled to death by a cougar on one of my runs to the park and back. Might develop a brain aneurysm and drop like a rock while gabbin on the phone with my Mum or kids. Might ..................

Not from the actual act of flying... or being in the airport... I don't worry about things that have a very slim chance of happening.... I just wish I didn't have to deal with TSA (the most incompetant Government entity out there)...

I flew before thanksgiving there were no worries for me either... except I got a horrible delay thanksgiving day I was supposed to be there around 2 a.m and didnt make it home for thanksgiving dinner tell around 5 p.m

I wouldn't fly anyway because I don't need anymore radiation nor do I want some man grabbing my genitals and telling me its for my safety. The terror is in our back yards folks not in some place half way across the world most Americans would need 5 minutes to find on a map.
