It's real hard to balance a budget when you don't even have a budget, much less even propose one.

It is emotionally and fiscally impossible for Obama to balance the budget since he has not approved a budget in over 3 years. He will be the first president in our history to complete a term in office and never had a budget.

Yes, I feel many of them lie, but there maybe a few that don't [ possibly very few ].I heard Axelrold too, and his demeaner [ at least to me ] seem to show me he was trying very hard to come up with answers and at the last, just threw out there what he could. I have a small booklett called, 69 Obama lies and I wouldn't doubt since this was put out, there are more lies that didn't get printed. I think the biggest lie of all is a man sitting in the White House that hasn't shown his real birth certificate before he became President.

There are only two ways to cut the deficit.

1) Increase revenues
2) cut spending

Cutting spending means lower sales for business and fewer government and private sector jobs. That means less revenue. The multiplier affect will mean higher deficits.
Examples are Bush 1 and Herbert Hoover. Net affect bad.

Increasing revenues. The best way to do this is to spur jobs by increasing spending. This means increased sales and increased hiring. The multiplier affect will mean lower deficits. Examples are Ronald Reagan and FDR.

We are currently obsessed with the deficit. We should be obsessed with revenue. Countries that are trying to cut deficits by cutting spending are finding two things happening one the deficits aren't improving. Two they are moving into ever worse recessions. Greece, England and the state of New Jersey are examples.

the best way to increase the amount of money that government takes from people is to expand the tax base, not to do it by simply raising taxes as obama wants to do. raising taxes decreases or stagnates the tax base

Obama is nothing but one big lie. He said if he couldn't get the job done in four years and he doesn't need to run again. Here we go........ There thinking is so sick and really doesn't seem intelligent to me. Where are the solutions He had control in both houses for two years and they did nothing. If I'm not mistaken, Obama didn't "inherit" anything. Rather, he CAMPAIGNED on fixing the economy in 2008. Four years later, we have Carter Jr. telling us that things aren't so bad after all.

The latest Democratic Lie is we Inherited the Worst Economy since the Great Depression.Obama and the Democrats spend billions and didn't create one lasting Job. I don't count jobs working for the Government as a real job.

You have to have that experience and your mind has to work that way. The USA is a business that is failing. What budget, the only one Obama presented even every Democrat in the Senate voted against it. The last four years have been one huge lie, so why would we believe you now. Obama is going to spout more platitudes and do nothing. There is a great quote from Steve Jobs I would like to share..... it goes -"It's not about charisma and personality, it's about results".
