Obviously the guy just got in over his head without having any sense of boundaries in terms of his own competency. Not that he was incompetent- he obviously had the right values given he gave all children free health care and seniors free bus rides (which by the way makes the charges against him even more absurd! But then again his language makes his values seem absurd). He probably never meant to break the law but technically he could have and that's what puts him in a dangerous position in this trial. Did he break the law even if he never meant to? If so his being surrounded by sharks is irrelevant, though youd think if he wasnt he would have been given sound advice all along. The prosecution obviously thinks he fully meant
to, even if he was naive. So even though I voted no, I guess it is important Thayer find out the truth- though I don't know if the truth ever comes out in a trial or if the conclusion of truth ends up being based on if it's just one side against another

More than likely the corrupt are the ones who put him where he is. Why don't we stop these charades?

It is a waste of taxpayer money if we are not concerned with the rule of law in this country. Why not shut down the entire criminal justice system, that will save a lot of money? I wouldn’t want to live here if we did.

I know. I was just wishing and hoping that somehow Obama might have to testify under oath, not that it would make any difference with him. He did swear on the Bible to uphold the Constitution and we all know how that is working out.

Just because "Blago" is just about the most irritating and mentally challenged fool on the planet doesn't mean he should be on trial for the rest of his life. In my opinion if he were guilty the prosecution should have buttoned up a conviction by now. I believe they just don't have the evidence to support the charges and they don't have sense enough to realize they are wasting way too much money on this boondoggle. Blago is an idiot of the highest degree, no doubt, but is his stupidity and egotistical foolishness worth it?

If he is guilty he should be locked up just like any other politician that is violating the law.

I also do not think the prosecutor's have a good case or there would have been a conviction on some count by now.
