Government has no right to force religious institutions to do anything in violation of their religious principles. Period. Like it or not. And we're not talking about the Catholic Church getting into your face and telling you anything. They are merely telling you they don't want the government to force them to pay for something that goes against their beliefs Now how hard is that to understand, people?

Nope. I'm not even into religion AT ALL. Yet I, and many other non-Catholics, not only support their stance on the issue, but also my own rights and the rights of all others are being infringed upon by Obama.

What are you trying to say? The only ethical excuse to kill an unborn baby is when MEDICALLY NECESSARY to save the life of the mother.

Over 98% of abortions are done for not much more reason than because a poor-excuse-for-a-mother didn't want her social life cramped by having to hire a babysitter, or a poor-excuse-for-a-father didn't want to have to pay child support, or some other reason not medically necessary.

Does it surprise anyone that he now thinks he can control the Church (any church) and go against the bible? After all he said it and he's God isn't he? I think all other Churches and religions should get on the band wagon and all Christians should vote him out! Heading more towards socialism! if a religious organization employs more than a few ppl, they must provide the same worker protections and rights as any other large employer.

one of those requirements is to offer health care to your workers.

if they want to buy heath care for their workers on the exchange (where the best prices will be found) then all of the choices found there will contain woman's health coverage (including abortion).

they are free to purchase the health care they need OUTSIDE of the exchange, if they want... so no one is forcing anything on them other than they must comply with US labor laws if they want to operate in this country.

there was a time when they were just happy getting the tax exemption, now they want special health care treatment too.

when does it stop?

That is the first portion of the 1ST Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
Making a religion, not just Catholicism, do anything against its tenets( such as forcing them to provide coverage of abortion) is prohibiting free exercise and therefore a violation
Until this act passed and unless the state specified it, employers did NOT have to provide health insurance coverage. If an employer did provide it & an employee meet the criteria, they couldn't be denied but it has never been part of the labor laws

You have the freedom to NOT work for ANY organization that you feel does not provide adequate compensation. You have the right to organize and fight for collective bargaining. You do not have the right to force an employer to entertain such collective bargaining against their will via the jack boots of the government. Not through the states, and ESPECIALLY not through the federal government.

Your labor laws argument is false, if not disingenuous. The HHS is NOT labor law.
