Bill Murray says that we should be personally responsible, and part of that responsibility, is for each one should help another, without waiting for government. Is he right

I'll help family and friends all I can. I would save someone from drowning if I could, but if he turns out to be a proponent of Force I'll throw him back in and walk away. No way will I help my enemies who don't respect our Right to Life. That includes this (or any) GOVERNment.

Any time you take government money, that gives them the right to tell you how to spend it. This is the biggest problem that nobody seems to understand. They think that it's okay to take government money, without the government wanting a quid-pro-quo.

Forget it. There is no money in the SS. The government has already spent that a long time ago. There is no "LOCKED BOX"

You're right, and anyone with an ounce of sense ought to know that. It's gonna be tough when the deposits no longer arrive. It's my only income. And people wonder why I would want this government to disappear!

With any luck at all, Gov will become history and their jobs will disappear along with them. Then they might be on unemployment but with nobody to pay them. Such is what they deserve. There are a few good ones, not nearly enough.

Not even close. Most everyone is all excited about vote2012, but without replacing most of Congress, it will be meaningless. For 232 years now it's been mostly more-of-the-same, that can't continue much longer.

If it became a law that the politicians would have to use their own money, all of this would stop in a HONG KONG minute. Every politicians enjoys spending every body's money, but not theirs

Hey, that's a very good idea. Let's pass a law that anytime the politician decide to spend our money, they have to give up 20% of their salary. It's called spreading the wealth, which most of them are for.

Well here's the deal. THEY pass the laws, we only get to obey them! But yes indeed let's spread their wealth - show me the way!

THAT has been the problem. The government is using our tax money to bribe the people into voting for them. I'm saying that the government has no business in "HELPING" anyone. business or individuals. Because, when they do this, they can pick and choose which ones they will help. In private charities, the people ministering the charity can judge whether an individual really needs help or is that individual is just in for the ride.

If any one out there believe that this government is out to "HELP" anyone needs to have someone pee in their ear and get a new set of brains. The reason this government, or any government is "HELPING" anyone, should realise that the only ones they help is themselves
