Does that second paragraph sound like he is all of a sudden, a Romney fan? Good Lord... is that ever a stretch !!!

Clinton is a smart man, he knows that Obama can't run his record of failure and division and realizes that the attacks on Bain are not going anywhere. He's deserting a sinking ship.

I just read the on-line news today, and Slick predicted that Obama was going to finish strong and win a second term. So no, Bill isn't saying that at all. In fact, I'm more convinced he knows that in keep this a "gentleman's" competition, civility will work in Obama's favor and hopefully leaves uncomfortable questions out of the mix maybe.
That's my take anyway.

I think cracks in the armor are beginning to appear.

I think Clinton does see the handwriting on the wall but after seeing how Obama treated Hillary with his attacks that were often unwarranted Clinton is taking the time to make people understand that the truth is not in what Obama says now just as it was not 4 years ago. He still wants Hillary to run again and this clears the way for that to happen in four years.

Don't rule out a challenge from Hillary. Especially if questions about Obama's lack of eligibility force the Democrat Party to draft Hillary.
