    Sorry, but I'm supposed to get "facts" at a pro-Obama propaganda site?

    This guy has lied so much that nothing with his name on it has any credibility.

    For instance, he lied about Planned Parenthood providing mammograms. It's been out there for quite a while that PP does NOT do mammograms.

    But this is the sort of lie on which you guys are basing your "Republican war on women" claims.

    ..There is no truth to this at all. The increase is in no way related to Obama's policies. How an anyone try to take credit for an increase in production when everything he is doing is to limit the production of oil.

    The "subsidies" that Oil receives are part of tax law. The same kind of "subsidies" every other business receives. Also ending of "subsidies" will not END addiction to oil, but it will increase the price by the amount their taxes increase.

    But this is posted by Mopeder, so it is understandable why the party line is touted!

    "The ad also tells us that gas prices are high because "some in Washington are still saying no to drilling in America." Not true. The federal government’s estimate is that if the moratorium on offshore drilling were lifted today, it would be 2030 before we’d see a noticeable effect on supply and prices." Except they have been saying the same thing for 30 years. But don't forget the futures market that also effects prices, which can happen now.

    Big Oil has been getting Billions in direct and indirect subsidies. The whole freaking Pentagon is a big oil subsidy.

BUt we know Democrats and Republicans all us Fact check.org to get results. it is the most unbiased place to check on the facts or so called facts.     That is not something i hear everyday on this site from someone with different opinions on politics. thank you. You will find i will probably post many topics you will not agree with, Heck, i may not actually agree with everything i post, but the reason i do it is because i get tired of seeing people pointing fingers in the direction of one person when we all know one person can not possibly screw up this much stuff because it takes more than one person to make a law :).

    Big oil and the ties with Dick Cheney and his secret task force and deregulation is the cause for the price at the pump.Obama needs to do more than remove the tax breaks, he needs to put the regulations back in place on Big oil. The cost of oil is the main reason the economy is what it is today. Oil has drove up the cost of everything we need to survive and people are making less money because of it.

    Big oil will do whatever it can to get as much as it can. Right now, it is exporting US oil at Brent prices. Why? Not because it cares about Americans but because it can and make a lot more profit.

    Did you even read the article you posted? Of course not, Republicans aren't into reading and facts. Let me help you. Had you clicked on the link you posted and not just watched the video, you would have read the following:

    “Planned Parenthood doctors and nurses provide more than 800,000 breast cancer screenings annually. We offer breast exams at every one of our family planning health centers. Like the vast majority of primary care physicians and ob-gyns, we refer our patients to other facilities for mammograms when indicated based on a breast exam, age or family history.”

    What this means is that, like most family planning facilities, they tell their patients to get the mammogram elsewhere. Using your logic, MOST family medical practices don't offer mammograms.

    A weak argument.
