Vice President Joe Biden predicted Friday the evolution in thinking that will permit gays to soon serve openly in the military eventually will bring about a national consensus for same-sex marriage.

Changes in attitudes by military leaders, those in the service and the public allowed the repeal by Congress of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, Biden noted in a nationally broadcast interview on Christmas eve.

"I think the country's evolving," he said on ABC's "Good Morning America.:" And I think you're going to see, you know, the next effort is probably going to be to deal with so-called DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). He said he agreed with Obama that his position in gay marriage is "evolving."

    No! We the people need protection from an abnormal lifestyle!     Giving full citizenship rights to freed slaves was the driving force behind the amendment, but it refers to any person, not "former slaves." The letter of the law is written expansively.

    OK, looking at it from your view here.... turning this over to my child who is gay:
    We have life.
    We have liberty
    We have property
    We do have due process of the law and we are given equal protection under and of the laws.

    So we is your point....none of these have anything to do with the "faggy" agenda? Look, my friends and I are 100% against this "agenda". Most males are to "emotionally" unstable to be in the military - the younger ones mainly would be just like that PFC (he has brought shame upon our community). As for marriage - they would really bring the divorce rate up because very few of us stay with one partner for a long time period.

    You are not busting my bubble child and there is nothing that you can say to me that my own child has not said. My child is an adult who as a child was exposed to the media blitz of it's ok to be gay...Madonna was (and still might be) her fav. She was not all through school, I even got called up there because she involved in a kissing contest & was given a 3 day vacation. When she started working everyone there was gay, it was "cool" and it was "shocking" to parents, this was 20+ years ago. YOU my dear, have been so indoctrinated by it through every form of entertainment there is and through your public school system. If you accomplish all those goals you have set for yourself that is fantastic! I don't hate the person, I hate the action because it IS un-natural. Don't believe me...check out the parts....male & female were designed to fit together as one without any added parts and the back door is a poop shute, ok?

    One mistake I realized in your comment their, never been in the public school system. I've been in catholic school for all 11 years of my schooling. You are right about the parts though, but on the bright side once I get older and do become sexually active I will never have to feel the pain of a penis.
