Fox News operates under the 2003 Florida Appellate Court ruling in Akre/Wilson vs. Fox wherein the court agreed with Fox's argument "There is no law against falsifying the news in the United States."

MSNBC, however, is under no such restriction in Canada. In fact, MSNBC-Canada was launched on September 7, 2001. Although now discontinued, MSNBC-America continues to air in Canada.
The reason Fox "is the most watched of all stations" is because facts are boring. Fear and hate sell. Fiction always outsells Fact in all media, unless you would rather read a textbook than a novel.

I am proud to say I am a fan of Fox news...if I want to hear both sides of the story thats the place to go......FOX is a conservative station but has many regulars who are very liberal,ie Juan Williams, Geraldo, Alan cloombs, Bob Beckel and many more.....Liberal guests include Whoppie, Al Sharpton,Rev. Wright, PRESIDENT OBAMA JUST TO MENTION A FEW....I expect replies that say how much they hate Fox and blah blah and they have no idea whats on and never watch it..... warning ...dont watch it if you want to know whats really going on and the truth watch MSNBC THEY HAVE ZERO CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE WORKING THERE AND ALMOST NEVER INVITE A CONSERVATIVE TO SPEAK
Fox news is a conservative spin machine, just as much as MSNBC is a liberal spin machine. Neither of them give fair of balanced news. The truth happens to be on the side of the liberals in most cases these days, but not all, and bias doesn't help in any way at any time.
"Liberals" don't hate Fox news because they don't watch it, they hate it because they DO watch it, and they see the lies. The louder someone on Fox news is, the more likely they are to lie. It's the same with MSNBC. The louder and more popular the person is, the more likely it is for bias to come out of their mouths.
It is BECAUSE of the bias that these "news" outlets are getting their ratings, so they want to keep it up so they can keep making money. They are going to pander to their fans. They are going to spin the truth. They are going to lie when it is more convenient. That's just how they are.
You want unbiased news? Google it. Both sides. Don't stop with one opinion, keep searching and doing research. Hearing all sides and seeing all sources is the only way to gain unbiased information.
