This posting is just SHEER BS .. This is a local political race ..
OBVIOUSLY .. you've never been to Benton Harbor MI .. (nor its neighbor St Joseph, MI either).
Benton Harbor's "Night of the long knives" is over, the citizens no longer have the right to a voice in their governance. Is it time to petition the UN for redress?

It's over for Benton Harbor, they are now mere spectators of democracy. Their city will be turned into a playground for the rich, a country club they cannot afford to join.
Some of them will get new jobs, serving drinks or carrying clubs for the Koch brothers but most of them will simply be made unwelcome in their own city. They will no longer be able to go to the Lake Michigan park their families have enjoyed for generations because it is being given away to wealthy developers.
I think this is just the beginning, I think conservatives have become so enamored of themselves that they will try to deny democracy to all of us and if we do not stand against it we will lose America entirely.
This is an affront to western civilization and a direct attack on African Americans, who compose 90% of the population of the city. It is time to compile a list of the violations of the UN "Covenant on Human Rights" to which the Unite States is a signatory. That document demands of all members that their citizens have the right to vote and for those votes to be respected, something no longer true in Michigan. It requires that signatories allow their citizens the right to organize labor unions, a right being systematically stripped in state after state. It sets forth the responsibility of each nation to supply it's citizens with an education, a responsibility that is being thwarted by shifting the cost of that education to entities too small to meet it.
I'd like to use this poll as a collection point for accounts of the specific acts of conservatives around the country accosting the rights and privileges of American citizens with the goal of drafting a request to the United Nations for redress of grievances, which is their function under their charter. I've listed above three specific violations of the Covenant on Human rights, but I'm sure there are more.
What I need are the specific laws being passed and how they affect the people involved. Below you will find a link to the covenant, please use it as a guide. I see good arguments for sanctions against the conservative movement on Articles 1,2,6,8,9,10,12, and 13. If democrats are too wimpy to protect the American people, we'll just do it ourselves.

I like democracy, so I'll keep voting.
Who can't afford to live nor vote there anymore
Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Do what you can.

I can't see you being in favor of that Jams, we may often disagree, but you're a thinking person.
