What a president believes matters.
Mitt Romney's companies were pioneers in outsourcing US jobs to low-wage countries. He supports tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.
President Obama believes in insourcing.
He fought to save the US auto industry, and favors tax cuts for companies that bring jobs home.
Outsourcing versus insourcing. It matters.

Pat 2012/07/30 23:25:25+7Ha! This commercial was just on TV. I think it's great. Romney has said one thing and done another so many times in his career, you just can't even keep track. His core beliefs shift from day to day. He will say or do whatever he thinks the people want to hear at the moment. He cannot be trusted.

lol!
But, while we are talking about the auto industry and outsourcing, let's take a look at obama's DOE giving a "green car" loan to Fisker, a Finnish company.
Oops! The word "green" came up. What other "green" loans did obama make where the money went overseas?
*North Carolina-Based LED Maker Cree Inc. Received Over $39 Million Through The Stimulus And Later Opened Its First Plant In China. Over Half Of The Company's Employees Are Now Located In China.
*Sempra Received A $337 Million Loan Guarantee For An Arizona Solar Plant. The Solar Panels Will Be Supplied By SunTech, A Chinese Solar Panel Manufacturer.
*General Electric Cancelled An Order From Wind Turbine Manufacturer ATI Casting In Order To Get The Parts Cheaper From China. After ATI Offered To Match The Price, GE Still Refused The Order. ATI Was Forced To Layoff 302 Workers Due To The Move.
General Electric Has Also Been Criticized For Using Chinese Made Wind Towers Over American Towers At The Stimulus Funded Shepherds Flat Wind Farm In Oregon.

And, that's just the beginning. Many more can be found at this site:

Obama did indeed save the auto industry, and more than 1.3 million jobs with it, not to mention all the satellite businesses around the auto plants. The unions cooperated by giving back wages and benefits to help make it happen.
Romney thought they should go bankrupt and then use private funding for a recovery, even though he knows there was no private money available for such a task. Now he says he should get credit for the recovery. That is what I call pure chutzpah. We could call it a few other things as well.

"In 2009" who was president?
Suck it.
It was modeled after the WPA program during the Great Depression, when many men were able to feed their families and keep their homes until the economy turned around. Of course, the depression ended when WWII came along, and we hope we don't need a world war this time for the economy to improve.
But ARRA helped to ease the suffering for millions, and Obama will keep trying when that runs out. He will not forget the unemployed, but the R's in the Senate need to pass the jobs bill.
